  1. Where does he say he's going to shoot someone, bill? SURELY it's not a dishonest characterization of what he actually said... Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  2. Like this guy? Link Or maybe you meant this guy? Link No, wait...that's a noose and not a gun. Must've been this guy, then... "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun." - Barack Obama "I don't want to quell anger." - Barack Obama Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  3. So, it's sorta like how MSNBC was calling Roberts "Judge Taney" just a couple days ago, before praising him as a hero today? Can you point out that 'threat' for me? I can't seem to find where he's saying to go beat people up. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  4. Must have missed that - got a link to him specifically condemning Roberts, or just disagreeing with the decision? Shallow thinking, believing that conservatives must agree with every decision the SC makes, just because you believe it's a conservative court. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  5. You mean the guys that just told Congress "the Commerce Clause doesn't mean what you think it does"? Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  6. Missing the point again.... why am I unsurprised? Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  7. Actually, it was ridiculing the knee-jerk "birther" comment. Sorta like replacing anything you write about conservatives with "Bush sucks"? Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  8. Given that it's been talked about for something like the past week, I'm pretty sure it's coincidence. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  9. Absent the hyperbole, agreed. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  10. I believe the term used is "less-than lethal" and that term is used by the jack ass cops quick to taze the shit out of somebody for "non-compliance". I was hoping this thread was about banning cops from using these devices. Much better to be shot, I'm sure. Not at all. There can be, and often are, severe consequences if a police officer goes off half-cocked and shoots someone with a gun. All this "less-than lethal" and "non-lethal" talk has resulted in good knows how many instances of people being electrocuted for "offenses" like "not STFU when told too". Electrocuted? The cops are plugging extension cords into their Tasers now before using them? Must make it a bit difficult to patrol dragging those around.... or maybe you're being just a *bit* hyperbolic? Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  11. It did. So, want to tell us what your point is? Just pointing out that evidently Obama's agent was a birther before it was cool - wonder if she wears those cool horn-rimmed glasses, too? I mean, anyone that mentions Kenya is a birther, right? Isn't that 'the narrative' as illustrated upthread with the tin foil comment? Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706

  14. Where are Tasers touted as 'non-lethal' outside of the press? Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  15. OK, thanks. I also found where the assistant who wrote that issued a statement saying that it was a fact-checking mistake on her part. Obama wrote a book around that same time, where he talks about being born in Hawaii. Dreams was published in 1995. This was still up as of 2007. Ah, so Obama decided around 1995 that he was born in Hawaii, but he had his agency continue to state that he was born in Kenya? Makes a lot of sense. And I'm now totally convinced that we have our first Kenyan-born President. I didn't say that...makes a nice strawman to argue against though, I'm sure. You seemed to be implying that the little blurb proves he was born in Kenya. Sorry if I misunderstood. No, it was a response to the 'well, he'd just written a book around that time' - sure took 'em long enough to spot and correct it, hey? Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706

  17. I'm sure that *you* think so. *You* DID it. Um, no. Nice try, though. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  18. That's incorrect, too. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706

  20. Sorry, but today's SCOTUS ruling dealt that one a death blow. ACA is Constitutional. As a TAX and not a commerce clause mandate...and the states can't be penalized for ignoring it. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706

Well played, sir....well played! Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  22. Author's blurb, then. Who is the author? And what is the original source? It was a booklet from his former publishing agency. Article here. Wayback machine confirms, here as of 2007. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  23. He's got my vote. First of all, he had your vote anyway. Second, it's all blather, because unless control of the Senate swings Republican, and the House stays Republican, the Democrats in the Senate will never allow it to be repealed. That goes doubly so if the Senate stays Dem and the House flips over to Dem. Or maybe he'll use the Obama Protocol and just get rid of it via Executive Order. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  24. The court supported the mandate as a tax issue, not as the commerce clause issue that was being argued by both sides. Your statement is incorrect. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
