Ok, so my knee was doing better, and I figured it was moving well enough that I could run out a landing, stick one, or slid on my butt to land..... so what do I do..... I jumped yesterday!! Only a hop-n-pop from about 3.3k, but nice to be back in the air, slider hung up, but not bad, nice landing standing in the peas.... quite happy about it. So, later last night, hanging out after hours, I go to throw one simple firework, twist my knee, and BAM! Back on the couch, knee up, ice, painkillers, etc. At least I got my good jump in And I will be able to post a number for this weekend!! Still keeping my cripple number for now........ Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

The BBC television series was based upon the original radio scripts. If you have read the series, then watched the TV series, you will notice that they are in a different order. The movie could be interesting, as long as they hold true to the British style humor in the series of books. I have one seriously messed up knee. I have no idea what I actually did to it last week, but I know it's screwed. Unemployed / Uninsured skydiver.... maybe I'll have to bit the big bullet next week and have it looked at $$$$$ Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

Friday afternoon, our little buddy ACME Skydiver did her 100th Skydive. After a few more jumps, and many beers later, she only thought she would get away without getting pied..... no such luck!!! Late Friday night (early Saturday morning,) Amazon attacked her with 2 whip cream pies! She had no clue it was coming!!! Congrates!!! Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

I'm doing all that as much as I can tollerate. Like a good chunk of us, i'm naturally high strung, so it's hard for me to sit on my ass and not do anything. I'm one of those unemployed skydivers without insurance.... and naturally, I messed my knee up pretty bad last weekend. I just hope I didn't do anything really nasty to it. Still a bit swollen and tender a week later........... I may have to bit the bullet and get it looked at if it's still that way next week. I feel your pain!!! Calling all Seattle area jumpers! The Golden Knights are going to be at Blue Skies Skydiving (just south of Bremerton) this weekend. K-Pow's Caravan will also be there. Even though the forcast is "iffy," it could still be a great weekend. Cloudy skies, we are northwest jumpers.... we are used to it. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

I did my first jump (first jump course the first time) on my 30th birthday! My first free fall (pulled my first handle) on my 31st, and was licensed by my 32nd.
