  1. I'm a hot mom. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  2. It probably doesn't make sense to you because you're a man. J/K Trust me, a woman can love her husband and care about him, and not respect what he does or respect his behavior. Make sense? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  3. haha, sorry about that! I didn't really think about that, I can edit my post to take out the religious part if you'd like. I figured I'd get a LOT more responses in here. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  4. Okay I'm starting this thread primarily to get a man's opinion on how important respect is. I've heard the phrase "telling a man you love him but don't respect him is equivalent to a man telling a woman i love you but I don't respect you." So guys, how important is respect to you, in a relationship? What does respect LOOK like? How does it feel when your woman doesn't respect you? Hallmark, movies, etc focus so much on a need to show love, well what about showing a man respect? What do you think? Feel free to disagree and flame away.
  5. And you're proud of your violent behavior? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  6. I don't see it as taking the quote out of context, I just haven't bothered to read the whole thread. However that statement ("But instead, home-schooling is state-sanctioned as an alternative to public or private institutions") makes it sound to me like you don't support homeschooling. I could be wrong, that's just how I read it. Remember, each person interprets life differently, including posts they read; every experience affects how a person reads into things. Don't take it personal if someone didn't quite interpret a post the way you intended it. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  7. Umm, I've never cried. To me that seems like it would be a rare thing for a woman to cry after sex. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  8. Ain't THAT the truth! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  9. And just what is so wrong with kids being homeschooled??? I'm pretty sure most kids that are homeschooled ( in the right way,not just left home from school to do their own thing) are more intelligent than those who are fed information only to regurgitate it back out in public schools. There are many benefits to homeschooling kids, especially if the child is not quite ready for the public school environment or is prone to be ing teased/harassed for some reason or another. 10. I don't agree with homosexuality but I would definitely jump with you.
  11. There should definitely be a NO RETURNS policy when it comes to body parts. What an arrogant, mean spirited, self centered thing to do! No wonder they're divorcing. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  12. That's pretty cool Rocky! Gotta be fairly quick though! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  13. I posted this in SC since the topic of if we're going to have a depression here in the U.S. may be somewhat controversial. Anyway, if we do end up going through one ( I think it's going to happen) what good do you see coming out of it? Personally I have heard stories of how families come together and the more important things in life like relationships become priorities.
  14. ***Personally, I'd rather live this life as if it's all I've got and find out later there's even more, than enjoy this life less than I could in anticipation of a "more" that doesn't exist. I don't find this depressing at all. *** What exactly are you implying? That us Christians don't enjoy life as much because we are concerned with eternity? Sure we don't engage in typical activities that other people think are "fun" such as sleeping with dozens of other people, getting drunk, smoking pot, being greedy, etc. I find life to be a lot more bearable knowing this nasty world we live in is NOT all there is; I enjoy life more knowing that there is a God who loves me more than I can possibly imagine and that nothing can separate from His love. What kind of hope do you have, that life will ever get better than it is now? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  15. Sorry buddy, but you can't prove that God doesn't exist. Just because you THINK He doesn't, doesn't make it true. Would you rather live your life as if there was a God ( come to find out there wasn't) or live your life as if there isn't a God ( come to find out there IS.) If there is no God there is no purpose to life and life just ends at death. No thoughts, no soul, everything just shuts down at death. I really don't believe we are here by accident and just live a life to merely exist and then die. Sounds pretty depressing to me actually. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  16. I think another way people can reach their goals is to not just write them down, but to also think about what will HELP them reach their goals and what specific action is needed in order to meet the goal. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  17. Okay folks here's a little bit of a psychological question for ya! Every year millions of people make resolutions to do/not do something different than what they've been doing. Lots of people try to go to the gym, quit smoking, try to be less selfish, etc. And millions of people quit their goals after a month in and nothing gets accomplished. So my question to you is, how does genuine change happen? Not just meeting goals such as quitting smoking, but changes such as becoming more selfless, caring, giving, etc. How does one go about changing his/her temperament or outlook, assuming it can be changed? Where does change stem from? Personally I think it can be hard to change without God's help, but I also believe people need to quit feeling sorry for themselves and just start living differently. Whatcha got? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  18. Why of course I did! I had been eyeing this really expensive jogging stroller for the longest time. Well I went to this baby boutique and knew you got to pop a balloon on Black Friday to see what kind of discount you would get. I bought a few cheap items and discovered I would get 35% off my purchases, so I ended up grabbing the stroller. Now I can go running during the week and take my baby with me. edited to add: Technically it's also from my husband as I told him he didn't need to get me anything for Christmas anymore, since I had already bought something. 19. If he's going to go through all that effort of course I'd comply! However, how I would I know he didn't want just a regular kiss? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  20. I wouldn't be so judgmental. Ever think there's a reason why Angelina's supposedly altruistic nature is broadcast and photographed so much? I think genuine altruism tries to hide itself, not shout itself from the roof tops. Lots of people make anonymous donations and do charity work quietly. Don't be so quick to judge. 21. Why thank you. And your body rejected it after being fine for 8 years? WOW. Still can't believe I paid someone to put a hole in my body, and it HURT! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  22. It's okay if you don't like it, I know you're old fashioned. Besides, my husband thinks it's hot and that's all that matters. Well, him and a few others is nice too. At least it's not a big a** tattoo covering my back or anything. And to the others: Give the guy a break. Not everybody appreciates beauty in the same way.
  23. Uumm no. But I HATE being cold and don't understand how I used to go deer hunting in below zero temps in South Dakota. What was I thinking?!?!?!?!??!?! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  24. Thanks! I think so too, especially after having a baby. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
