Okay guys. Right now I am paying back a few different student loans a month; however, I do have some Sallie Mae loans that I am wondering how I'll be able to make such a large payment to every month. I was thinking about consolidating my Sallie Mae loans, but don't know much about it. Do I consolidate with S.M. or some other loan company? Can I get the actual amount decreased or not? Which consolidation company have you used and why? I was hoping to forebear the loans for a few more years till I could get a much better paying job, but I just found out that S.M. doesn't offer forebearance anymore into the future! . I have been doing a good job paying off my debts but it's going to be awhile before all my student loans are paid off. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

Even at 25? Okay, that may be why my step-daughter rolled her eyes and said "oh my gosh" to her mother, when I showed up at my 5 yr.old stepson's school program wearing a halter, skirt and peep toes. My step-daughter ( who is only 10 years younger than me, mind you) informed me that I am too old to wear mini-skirts ( and leggings). I was shocked to hear her say this, as I don't normally wear skirts but a few inches above the knee...and I'm only 25. Soon to be 26. Now I can understand her MOM being too old, the whole no-mini-skirts-after-35 rule, but 25? WOW. Am I sadly misinformed? edited to add: I guess she thinks anyone over 20 is too old for mini-skirts! Has anybody else been to this site before? To make a long story short, I checked out this website when some guy was sending me messages on myspace and I saw his picture in an ad for "woome." Something tells me this "guy" wasn't really who he said he was. ANYWAY, it's an interesting website. I ended up joining a "session" to see what it was all about, and talked to a haven't-been-in-the-sun-forawhile/computer nerd/weirdly awake at 1:30am guy. What was weird was he had a webcam and I didn't, so I could see and hear him, but he couldn't see or hear me. Needless to say I deleted my account after not finding my stalker from myspace.
