I never do. But on jump #75 I was the "victim" of a bad combination of a un-thighten leg strap, wearing boxershorts under my (to big) jump suit. People on the ground heard my scream when I deployed at 3000' and got my "boys" squashed under the legstrap. I was only able to make left-turns on the way down. When I tried a right-turn it felt like I had to throw up. After I had landed, no one asked what had happened, they already knew from my "primal scream". Man, that was painful. ----------------------------------------

Hey, calm down. You can always visit us at Grenland. No, wait a minute, we haven't seen blue skies for over a month either. And no skydiving for more than two months. Winter in Norway really sucks. It is so depressing having a brand new rig laying in the closet, just waiting for it's first jump. You haven't jumped your new Hornet either? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. The worst part is that this is just the beginning. We're looking at at least two and a half more month with temperatures below zero (Celsius), and probably a LOT more snow. I really need some sun. This is so sad. ----------------------------------------

I have used Mandrake Linux earlier, and it is great for newbies. For more advanced users there are better alternatives; Debian, Slackware and so on. For newbies Mandrake is one of the best choices. You can run multiple OS's without VirtuslPC. You'll find tons of documentation if you do a search with Google. If you are thinking of dualboot with Linux and XP, let LILO (LInux LOader ? ) manage the boot. I have got several dualboot machines at my office. Mainly SuSE linux/Win2k. ----------------------------------------
