  1. I've seen one case where the loop was almost totally torn due to incorrect packing, the toggle nose was stowed to brake line above the metal ring on the riser.
  2. This http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/ is pretty fast and doesn't include bloatware
  3. Oakley also provides curved prescription lenses for their sunglasses. I think they are the only ones on the market for that?
  4. Similar data is provided from Finland. I can provide a link to interested ones - obnote that it is in Finnish and I am not going to start translating it...
  5. I personally think that this is invalid guidance. If unconscious then it is just about luck whether you survive or not. - Petri
  6. Samsung NX210 works with a tongue switch. Haven't jumped with the kit lens (8-55mm) but purchased a 20 mm wide pancace.
  7. How are you going to arrange that? Browse a bit dz.com and you'll see images and videos of pilotchute in tow on those this-small-camera-mount-will-break-before-anything-bad-can-happen setups. - Petri
  8. Do you really want to put extra weight compared to hackey/pipe to the only external part of the pilot chute bouncing around your BOC mouth? - Petri
  9. Haven't had time to do that yet. I'd very much prefer to have the steadyshot on as the FOV is smaller with it... Will test when I have time - Petri
  10. Thanks, I have no problem with that if there is any chance that somehow this leads to better SW :) - Petri
  11. Maybe I need to add a piece of wire or like in front of the camera to get rid of jello :-P - Petri
  12. Tried extra filling as above but it doesn't remove the jello effect. I'd say there is something wrong in the steadyshot algorithm (very visible on this video): http://1drv.ms/1jSovMY
  13. Also noticed jello with a very tight Bonehead Flattop. Watching from plane door towards ground the effect was very visible. Didn't have time to check whether switching to NTFS from PAL would make difference (thinking if the camera/firmware is more 'tuned' to 60 fps). Steadyshot was on. Need to check without steadyshot...
  14. Thanks, in theory old news but still worth watching. - Petri
  15. If you check the Software-section from L&B's Altitrack page you'll be forwarded to a page stating the following: To all our software customers: And Paralog seems to be supporting OSX: http://www.paralog.net/download.html - Petri
  16. Do you need to register to L&B site in order to view the forums? http://www.l-and-b.dk/products/registration/create_account
  17. Hi DSE, is this referring to the original Drift or all of them (Drift, Drift HD, Drift HD Ghost)? The reason I'm asking is that my 2nd camera is Drift HD and I have not seen a lot of difference compared to materials from 1st or 2nd gen GoPro's. - Petri
