I'm looking at getting a new computer game, I havent played comp games in years. I'm really into strategy. I remember Civilization, Red Alert and Age of Empires, liked them all. Ive also heard a friend talk about Thief. I disagree. You can draw a parralel between cats and some humans just as you can between dogs and some humans. I might be wrong in my observation, and some will be offended. THis is purely just my observation from personal experience. Everyone that I have known that has owned a cat was bitchy. Mostly girls that liked drama and bitchyness. I see cats in the same way. On the other hand, everyone that I have known that owned dogs were the friendlyest people, mostly energetic. So are dogs, friendly and energetic. If you cannot respect a dog because he is always happy, then you probably dont respect some humans. Why do you say this? Simply because there is no variation in the attitute, it make him dull or uninteresting? I dont see why. Plus.... I am really PISSED off at cats now. My roomate has two, and she never cleans the box. I open the front door and it smells like SH&%. The couches now seem to have the odor in the fabric. The cats also use my room as a bathroom at every opportunity they can, forcing me to always keep the door closed. I stay in my room with the window open just to get rid of the smell. She never tells the cats to get off the counter or table to stop eating out of her plate, even when she is eating with other people. So I notice a lot of people with dogs one here. Just wondering if there is some connection between skydivers and dogs. Maybe most skydivers are highly energetic like I am, and like dogs, cuz they play. Became a raftguide out in Colorado and one guy started talking about how cool skydiving is, he needed to do his 4th or 5th static line jump. So i thought, you know, i might as well check it out, i've always wanted to do it. So I went to the airport, and saw a South African flag hanging there, met some fellow south africans. We started hangin out, they taught me to pack, i started packing for the DZ. After two weeks of hanging out, we realized that one of them was good friends with my cousin when they were kids! So, in the end, these cool junglebrothers got their AFF ratings and I was their first student. For a much apreciated HUGE discount, as well as the DZO not chargin me gear rental! Here is another cheaper option I was considering for a while. Unfortunately it is too small for me. I am in the same position, looking for a helmet. I'm going into freeflying, and I want a cool freefly helmet, but hey, whats better, looking cool, or making a few more jumps? I also know that I am going to go into camera jumping, but like it was said earlier, it would be senseless to get a helmet now to use a lot of jumps later. I def. am going to get a PROTEC, but I dont want the full face, that looks dorky, (reminds me too much of my student days). Would any of you guys seriously advise a full face over the half cut? I dont see too much difference. I get that a lot as well. People tell me I'm going to die, and yet know nothing about skydiving. I just shake my head. And like I told people, before i started jumpin' I was afraid to leave this world, becuase I had so much more I wanted to do. If I die now, whether it be skydivin or not, I will go peacefully, since I am pretty sure there is nothing that will provide me with more joy than skydiving. So if I go in, you all can know that I did it spending my last moments exactly where I wanted to be. I have thoguht plety times that bouncing would actually be my preffered way of going. Back to the point, I dont think anyone that knows nothing about the sport can judge your engagement in skydiving as dangerous. I just did 10 min last thursday, and for a jumper with only 29 jumps at the time, it rocked. Someone said earlier you cannot learn much in 10-15 min. Nothing personal, but hell yeah you can. I learned an incredible amount, and I was uncoached. They will help you out anyways. My 29th jump was relative work with a buddy, we strugled to match fall rate and to dock. After the tunnel, we had the sweetest jumps ever, docking and floating around each other no problem, it was mostly my improvement (He is already good). So... My opinion, go get the most time you can, and a coach if you can. Your money is well spent. If you can only afford 10 -15 uncoached, go do it anyways, you'll see what i'm talking about. As for getting tired, i didn't get close. I am not fit at all, but not overweight either. THe big thing I learned was to just RELAX, and that takes away a lot of effort. The more i relaxed, the more it flowed. Anyhow, go get all the time you can! --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei!

I HATE TV its only good to play my videos of skydiving on! (bummed it in CO for a few months last year, didnt ever watch TV for 4 months. What about this crazy idea. I know a lot of you are going to look at me strange, but I like falling out of the door of a plane on a sunset load, trying to sit in the air and maintain stability, then open my parachute a little high to watch the sun, the beach and all the people running bak and forth from work, while I am hanging way up in the air. Nonsense. 1. The Earth is about 10 trillion times as massive as the entire human population combined. Any effect would be so small as to be unmeasurable. 2. Unfortunately it is already at MAX level. He still runs through. I advised me parents and brother to do the training as explained earlier, we will see how this works. They say that they think the problem might originate in taking the dog for walks. He only crosses the fence where they cross (when his shock collar is off), when they take him for a walk. I will try to help my parents and bro out as much as I can in training the dog.
