  1. haha i totally agree, Chris you've got to write more of this stuff, it may have been traumatic for you but it was just so funny for Rosa and I! I do know what you mean though, sometimes when i'm having people over and i buy chips and chocolate and things i think, hope they don't think it's all for me... then i just think, nah they probably don't care what i'm buying... i think i'm in denial. i'd probably think the same things if i were in their position, wouldn't ever say anything to the customer though. . 2. Chris you have me laughing so much i'm crying, people at my work think i'm weird(er than usual). You have my sense of humor, the way you wrote that just had me in stitches. thanks for the laugh, sorry for your mental anguish. 4. haha awe squeak how bout we share? they can all visit us both. Or you guys could come and spend a little time on the East coast too no plans to head to sydney after or before equinox? i mean come on, you come all the way over here and miss out on seeing New South Wales, that's criminal . 5. Yuck, i hate Vegemite, i think i'm the only Aussie that does too, my friends think i'm crazy, it just doesn't do it for me... but i'd be more than happy to pick some up for anyone heading down under, it's an aquired taste and i'd make a bet they wouldn't get through much of it with a smile. . 6. oh sweet! cocheese, bring me some of that american 'candy' you guys are always talking about, while you're at it. i'd be happy to have you all crash my country! hehe . And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
  7. Awe I WISH i could Squeak, in all honesty, i'm dying to go, the biggest boogie in Oz, only on once every two years and i gotta miss it... i know. it sucks. i don't have the jump numbers or money to go I've been kicking myself for ages, but i know i just can't do it without getting in some serious debt. i think i'm going to save up and head up there for the skysisters one next april instead. Make sure you take lots of pictures though so i can be heaps jealous when you send them to me! . 8. I'd like to see the other side of the world again but you guys are getting into autumn and then winter soon and we're just heating up down here so... can i postpone the trip till next year and say the U.S. when it's spring/summer. Or Canada when it gets to winter... Or Ireland... or France... or... I can't decide. I'd be happy to have a holiday ANYWHERE right about now.
  9. Everybody Loves Raymond. Just not funny. Also, I doubt any of you would ever have seen it but the aussie show, Skithouse, is just the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen... it's so far beyond lame. . 10. you're just a trouble maker Jafa. And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
  11. awe okay thanks. i'll see if i can just send it in a PM as opposed to emailing first cos i'm lazy. no biggie if you can't work it, i'm not that fussed, i just don't know how to keep a photo the same dimentions but make it smaller in computer byte/file size or whatever the hell it is... 12. I stuffed it up first, shhhh. i'm so not good at these computer things, one second the file is too large, the next thing i forget to press upload... it's all a bit much for me. haha. But yeah it really loses the definition when you resize it in paint, doesn't look half as good as the big print. oh well. Hey aren't you supposed to be bringing me blank cd's or something? i'll be home tonight but not tomorrow so yeah get you ass in gear you slowpoke. also when are you going on this spring break thing you americans do? 13. My friend Dave took this picture of me, the original was in colour, he left my eyes the colour they are and made the rest of the photo black and white. He's an awesome budding photographer And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
  14. The Simpsons, followed by Seinfeld. I'm sorry, they are the greatest in my opinion. I've had detailed arguments with people over the 'levels' of the simpsons, I guess that comes from watching a tv show every week (and often 7 times a week) for two thirds of your life. I never really watched much tv comparatively speaking, but those two shows were the exception. ...oh and to a much lesser extent i've been a fan of Just Shoot me and Fraiser. . 15. MSN only. someone else installed yahoo on my home computer but I don't ever use it. I have a bunch of people on my list and I'm too lazy to change or add any new messaging systems. If people want to speak to me they gotta use msn. Most of the time i'm too lazy to even turn that on though. . 16. Confidence, but not arrogance. a sense of mystery and adventure... and puppy dog eyes, big dark brown ones. myself: umm... my blue eyes. . And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
  17. Ah Jeff, I’m at work, bored as all hell and I’m reduced to reading your rhymes to keep me amused. Worse still, I’m reduced to discussions on daytime TV! Where is my PM? Huh? And these questions you speak of… I have no idea what you mean. . And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
  18. Hey give me a break, i've lived there like a week, the TV in our lounge room isn't even set up yet haha. I think we're going to get cable assuming the building has a facility for it but I hardly watch TV anyway so it seems like a pretty big waste to pay for something I won't use, we'll see. And anyways, 90% American programing is just as bad as the English stuff . 19. haha I have a heap of young ones on video, my brother sat me down when I was a kid and made me watch all of them. You have to have that sense of humour to like them though. I’ve shown them to my friends and they’ve stared blankly at the screen while Neil has been put in a garbage bag and had nail driven into him because he’s sneezing too much and I’m laughing my head off and they’re looking at me like I’m a freak. Oh well. haha Daytime tv is the worst, here we get crappy Aussie soaps which, I can tell you from experience, is way worse than any of those shitty English comedies. 6 months off, wow, that’s hectic. You really must have done some damage, sorry to hear. Well if you come through 6 months of daytime tv alive you’ll be a stronger man (either that or insane) And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
  20. Hey, there are a few okay shows, the Young Ones is classic comedy. I loved that show, it's so screwed up... actually that's about all i can think of right now... haha you're right, the rest of them must suck! well i hope you heal soon, if for no other reason than you're not forced to watch shite on tv 24/7 p.s. Thanks . And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
  21. I haven’t seen it since I was a kid… maybe 8 or 9 years old so most of the jokes were probably lost on me anyway. I think the attachment it’s more a nostalgic thing than any real depiction of quality in the show... My parents subjected me to a lot of bad British comedy when I was young. . 22. you're so into the poems today, aren't you Jafa man. Now I have that song in my head though... always reminds me of the British comedy Birds Of A Feather, it was the theme song. I've got a headache and this work day is dragging. And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
  23. haha i know what you're going through! i spent literally about 3 hours at the dropzone the other week trying to propack my sabre, i honestly just could not get it in the bag. I was tired and frustrated and people would come along and show me how to do it and they'd get it in the bag no problem and explain to me that it just takes practice... which i'm sure it does but when you're just starting out you just get so tired of accomplishing nothing. In the end I psycho packed it and got it in, i ended up jumping that packjob (even though it was sloppy) and it opened fine, really slowly but fine - i guess that's good for a sabre though. I'm not saying you should rush out and start psychopacking, i don't know the pros and cons of that vs propack and i definately don't have enough experience to say which is more effective on opening or for the life of your canopy but psycho packing seems to be easier for me to get in the bag.
  24. :4:1 Completed my last two conversion jumps with a hop and pop from 2500. Then did two, two-ways with cute boys
  25. Maybe if i was a lot older, but there is no amount of money that could make me agree to die at 30. . And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need 'Cause you knew you were finally free - Death Cab For Cutie
