Yes, over here you loose a day and if you're over 50, it's valid for a year, over 40, for two years, otherwise 5. Yes, I wanted to now how that works in U.S. Tnx all What goes around, comes later. -

You wanna jump outO plane? Legally? Well, you've got to prove that you are meeting a standard for such luxury: What goes around, comes later. -
So.. It looks like it's going on. How long the rest of us r supppose to wait for this kind of climbing comfort? (2000 ft/min) Oh I'm blind.. but this attachment proves me seeing further What goes around, comes later.

Near miss - talk to your fellow skydivers first.
format replied to dgw's topic in Safety and Training
I figure the delay was 3 or so seconds. As he could see him already, he should've commit this jump to avoidance by depending on lower jumper's actions. (if you can't trust the guy - you better watch him) ... and I wouldn't call 15 sec. track a "short one", nor a "safe one" in this case. What goes around, comes later. -

Sounds like he trusted your decision. Now, when I think of it, I would either exit right after the guy, keeping him in sight or I would make a pretty long delay between our exits. But you didn't say about exit alt and how long was delay? (and of coarse his experience) What goes around, comes later. -
Is it my dirty imagination or the redSuit guy is "erected"? (3rd photo) What goes around, comes later.

Troll accusation. This is my first. _____________________ I mean no disrespect What goes around, comes later. -
"why question preapproved manufacturer's size?" English isn't my native, I guess I meant something like "questioning Certified methods", for instance - we get exact amount of whisky in a bottle - nobody complaints.. So "Actual" difference, OVERHANG or overhang, doesn't affect decition safety? -please don't ask what a "decition safety" means- _________________ ok Dave, I get it :) edit: Let me clear my motive, if I choose to tryout a 139ft canopy, I wouldn't mind if it's "actually" 143 but NO, I wouldn't try it if it's "actually" 135. So far I rely on label# + jump# What goes around, comes later.

They didn't? So there's possibility that we're using incorrect referrence in choosing canopy/WL? It's like 10 minutes of measuring Xs and Ys of lower fabric. (without stabilizers) Inputing data in.. say ACAD software would give you precise 3D surface of which sqft-area is auto-presented. Can't think of what I missed (I usually do) What goes around, comes later.
-
Unless you have a custom made canopy, why would you question preapproved manufacturer's size? I guess they agreed on world standard of sizing What goes around, comes later.

Landing out is dark experience I'd say: Don't land out (I'd rather basejump) on this matter, did anyone jump with GPS only? It should be scary fun to rely only on 1 device? What goes around, comes later.

It becomes worth reading, this is usable in many areas - don't doubt that! BusLoad, CarLoad, DickLoad... BrainLoad.. When you pick an angle - oh yes, you suddenly get it. Just for some examples - I prefer: - mid loaded buses - low dickLoad girls - mid to high loaded canopies - strong loaded liquer - there's infinite number of defined choices I Know what I don't prefer flaming. What a surprise I've had, realising that Gforce was smaller under higher WL (shorter lines), yes it's calculatable - smaller circle, and so on What goes around, comes later.

Now that's something worth debating What goes around, comes later.

Being an Radio Amateur in 1877 or so, I've experienced similar attitudes among them/us. Though they were bould while installing some antennas at some crazy places. I guess people tend to feel they are special, some will not feel so until 1000 jumps, some are so special after 3 jumps, and I bet some feel SO superior just because of whatever. I like to think that we NEED those assholes so we could appreciate right guys more, in a way they deserve What goes around, comes later.

Why are there no Antonov AN-2's in the US?

Looks like Smederevo (right down the Danube from Belgrade) Padinska Skela is about as close to Belgrade, but nobody was jumping there much when I was in the area.Quote You can tell it's not Smederevo 'cause you don't see small kids running around -
I couldn't pull with one hand two years ago. Until now I thought the non-adjusted gear was the reason why (handles to high, near neck - small force) I'm sure I pulled afront - 90 degrees of housing.. Tnx for the angle

Should people be banned for doing hookturns in certain places?
format replied to CrazyL's topic in Safety and Training
Sorry for coding, really. I had to wait 10 years to sit and chat with somebody able to grasp what I was doing before. Simply because I was ahead of a time, hence misunderstood and lonely. By saying "we're not there" I meant - your asking seems futile because most of "us" can only dream of such jumps#/Uturns# and worse - some are frightened! (not me... yet) So, it's like Billy Gates asking some corner salesmen for Wall street advice. I wish you luck but expect no good answer unless in person with your kind! __________________________________ as soon as I get my dz ur wellcome What goes around, comes later. -
