its quite sad really - i like the BM products alot BUT ill never again order and wait so long for anything - i know of some guys here that have waited 6m for pants. stuff that no pair of pants are that special - id rather go to the competiton. they need to sort that out - the one thing missing from a brilliant company with great products. ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

i have put about 100 jumps on my SM1 - flocking, diving, barrel rolling, back flying, head down, chasing studends, getting burble, you name it - the tail wont flap - no matter what 100% guaranteed ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

Hi there - quick question - does anyone use imove for editing tandems ect. Busy learning the software and it seems that leaving a tandem "template" and simply pasting in the clips after every tandem could be super quick. any thoughts? ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

plucked from the sky!!! looking at that barrel roll - you twisted your torso mid roll and then once you felt you were off balance you tried to counter (or grab) the air to stabilize with your wing which sped up the shorizontal spin. for starters concentrate on heading and concentrate to do the roll and SLOWLY open up again until you are used to the differnce forces and the different places that the resistance wants to push when you roll. keep your legs together and closed - thats the number one reason for dipping your shoulders, going head low and causing the wedge effect on your tail wing wihich pushes you into a spin. when flying straight and you want to do the barrel roll next time - think deep breath - relax pitch chest up slightly and think head high roll your shoulder and close your legs or cross your legs - keep thinking legs through the spin - slowly open ... good luck! if you have the time - go do barrel rolls on a tracking dive - it will speed up you learning curve it is of course much easier and safer to learn barrel rolls in a smaller suit ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

that is a brilliant design - checked out that suit at the germany boogie - very nice. never flew it though and wanted to know if the tail wing has airlocks? can anybody fill me in? ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

thanks for the kind words i want to personally thank Jarno and his crew for the pre boogie which rocked and for Scott Compost () who masterminded every big flock, kept things together and stilll made it fun... dude you rock ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

SM 1 is nothing like a GS1 - ive done about 10 flocking jumps in the last 3 days from 16k in germany. this suit is rock fcking solid - minor changes in flock speed/bumps/flying in the burble is NO problem. its always rock solid. best part is at break off - it looks like the flock goes into freefall - the lift and forward speed gets me WAAAY out of anyones space. ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

like we have already agreed - neptune is a unrefined way of comparing performance - infact its crap. so no performance comparisons between - just saying the suit inflates better when shoulders are rolled due to the fact that the intakes are on top of the wing (where birdman wing deflectors usually are) which increases performance from regular cruzing speed of 55 - below 40. Airlocks are VERY different to jump with - its a double edge sword - it increases performance dramatically but at pull time you have to shut down the wing and press the air out the cells which takes an extra second. with the suit back inflating/ having airlocks i can imagine VERY VERY nasty flat spin scenarios if you are inexperienced or uncurrent. As for acrobatics - you have to change the way you fly to keep the always solid wings in check but its worth it and like any thing new in a suit you get used to it and then it becomes a piece of cake. i stand to be corrected but i both arm and tail have airlocks. oh and PS. the wingsuit (as every single one i have jumped) IS fun to fly ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

i also like it - scallop wings are a bit gay but i like the overall suit ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

how long is a piece of string - his suit still hasnt arrived . im not a brand basher but , i dont know what BM is doing but they are not in the factory making suits that i know ~ time is ~ time was ~ times past ~

its a mother fukker - that thing is like a speeding bullet - i did 4 jumps with guys doing hop and pops. the most fun ever - damn we are blessed
