All fat is not equal. While visceral fat...that abdominal fat...is known to be bad for our cardiovascular health, that butt and thigh fat may just be good for you. You know, "fat bottom girls!" Sure it's about loaning to people who couldn't afford it. But people who can't afford it shouldn't be taking out the loans. People who lost their homes when they couldn't meet their mortgages have no room to whine, and this mess is AT LEAST as much these individuals' faults as it is the federal government's. We citizens put ourselves into this mess. We need to back up and take lessons from our grandparents. Handouts are usually not a good thing. Exactly. And they were forced into it by our government. They weren't exactly *forced* into it by our government, but our government enabled them to make stupid financial choices, but the choices were still theirs. They lost their homes and screwed the rest of us in the process.... I think the people responsible are all the folks who want more than they can afford and who are willing to stretch themselves beyond their means. Yes, some people get Alzheimer's dementia. A 48 y/o guy I knew died a week ago from a massive heart attack. OMG! Obama's 47! AND his risk of prostate cancer is pretty high. I doubt that you'd fail your classes because of jury duty. My bet is that you can keep up your grades with just a little effort even if you're not sitting in the lecture hall for every lecture. If you try to find a way to make it work out, I bet you'll be able to do it. If you're determined that there's just no way, you'll not find a way.
