they charge and need donations because they might only have 1 accident but they need multiple choppers and multiple workers, they always must have extra choppers on stand by this is incase an accident happens while a second is out. each chopper is generally worth several million $'s, they arnt bomb skydiving planes they are extremly Hi tech, night vission, twin jet turbine engines, hundreds of thousends of $'s worth of medical equipment etc then factor in about 10 pilots, each helicopter needs a co pilot so say ya have 2 choppers in a area you need 4 pilots per shift and 3 shifts per day then ya need mechanics, technicians, cleaners, etc and yes you can get hit up for a $30k bill if you have a car accident then get air lifted to hospital, same goes for ambulances, ambo's are usually 2 to 4 times more expensive then taxi's is pretty bad when ya think of it that a modern country like australia that is without homeless people like say the US or somalia etc still has to charge a fortune for an ambo ride

that 50 second delay vid was awesome as for trango what is the actually sheer drop hieght like from top to bottom I don't mean sea level or any crap, just if you were to jump out say 30 metre's from the cliff (yes big jump) and just fall straight down (no tracking) how many feet would ya fall till ya hit something ?

If he goes out the door for the first time thinking it will be just a casual skydive he'll get a shock

in a few aussie vids i've seen the shovels vids have been advertised, always has an email address, somthing like dougsshovel @ hotmail.com or shovels or the theshovels or somthing lol I just know it has shovels in it and hotmail

maybe ya's could do a skydive over a big wall and just as ya even with the top of the wall and 30 feet off it ya's could cut away and have a base canopy/pilochute and track along like a BASE jump without jumping off a cliff

google video is different to doing a video search on the standard google search engine, google video is for uploading movies for them to host and also to give you an option to make them PPV

I think it was nick? who has stated that for it to be a BASE jump the canopy must be in the container when ya launch and it must be needed to save ya life, so say ya jumped a 20m bridge into water, it wouldnt be official base as ya would most likely live without it.

oh cool, didn't know this book existed is there any other good BASE books people would recommend ? Can't wait till Nick completes his Hopefully I'll be able to understand the technical terms when it get finished.

the company I work for has an online calendar ordering system (award winning). you simply go to the site upload the images for each month, enter the details for each day (optional) so ya can add like "my birthday this day" or what ever ya want, view a proof (PDF) then order and it goes off to the printer. Only issue here is I'm in OZ so posting calendars off all over the world would cost a bit in postage, but if ya want you may be able to use it to create the PDF of the calendar and have the Print quality copy emailed to ya (about 12 to 15mb for the 12 page PDF). Then you can take it to some local printer, as all commercial industry printers print from PDF's it's the industry standard. if it interest ya PM me, I know 1 of the developers who helped build the system, pure legend. won't say who he is though

Curiosity has gotten the better of me... Anyone here yet used internet search tools to find new sites. I know people have talked to rock climbers/hikers and asked them about cliffs etc. but you can also use tools like google images, for example someone may go camping out in the middle of no where and take some pictures of nature, then come home and add the pics to there website, which google then stores in its image index. then if you do a search for terms like "cliff valley name" a lot of the time you'll find pics, or even "cliff state" as that increases ya chances of finding cliffs in valleys and stuff you have never heard of etc. has anyone actually used this method ? also google earth eath.google.com is a cool tool, at present ya can only zoom in *closely* to cities and popular area's but within a year or 2 you'll be able to zoom into within a thousand feet of every place on earth. Surely that would save time having to hike around the back country looking for possible new sites. or will that just spoil the fun ?

the best spot to BASE is off the 3,000 foot mountain, it has its own look out deck to jump off but its best to ride the pushy off it for maximum clearence the mountain is on the very bottom left of the map, you'll know it when ya get there its huge. actually I'm saying 3,000 as a wild guess, surely its atleast 2,000 anyone wanna estimate on how high it looks. man I love that mountain, also incase ya's didnt know there is this new mod out thats been making the news heaps, as it allows ya to have sex in the game and control the character while having sex, its called "hot coffee" or somthing google it , google for cheats as well.
