I don't know the exact numbers but I think we are around 12 medical aircraft crashes for 2008 in the US alone.
-
These things seem to be falling out of the sky a lot this year. I hope I never need one, but to be in an accident then die on a helicopter, that just sucks. http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/09/28/medivac.crash/index.html

First, Welcome to the Forums.

+1 I think that Customer Service matters a little more than price or how it gets to me. I've driven 1000 miles to pick up a rig from the manufacturer but I ordered it from my local dealer.

Also being talked about here... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3337912;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread

Hey, no problem. I figured since it looked like you were new here I'd offer that up for you. Also if you have not had a chance look at the security and scam alerts forum. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?forum=44;

If this is the ad you are talking about, take note that the user posted it less than a week after registering on the site and has yet to fill out a profile. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=67667;d=1 Be careful!

Someone told me to put my ID in my shoe. I said that wouldn't do any good if they took my shoes. I stayed in NJ and took the boat across the river, then walked everywhere I wanted to go.

Thanks, I'll let the wife know. I should be leaving for Chicago this morning. I'm still not sure if I will be yet. I showed her how to hook up the inverter to the car battery (and make sure the car is running part of the time) so we can keep the fridge cool.

I was able to find and get ice today, only problem was I had power when I was at the store. So no, I don't have any ice.

I almost won. I moved my work van and car into the back yard then 2 BIG tree branches fell in the road where my cars were just minutes before. Still no power. I have the fridge,TV and fan plugged into a 1500watt inverter that is in my work van. I'm getting ready to unplug it for the night.

Now Ohio is getting winds from Ike. We have 40mph winds with 70mph gusts. A Lot of trees down. (on cars) I live in Columbus, the area I am in has no power and I've talked to my uncle in Lebanon (about 80 miles south) and they also have no power. Good thing I have a laptop and Verizon Broadband card.

I always forget about newegg. Looking at the reviews just made it worse. Thanks for the input.

Any suggestions? (In the US) ATSC, VSB8, and QAM. I'm kind-of looking at the HD Homerun or one of the QAM compatible Hauppauge tuners. I just can't decide. BTW, I use Snapstream BeyondTV. If it helps any, right now I have the following. Hauppauge MCE 500 (Dual analog tuner, PCI) Dvico Fusion 3 silver (ATSC VSB8, HD Tuner, PCI) Dvico Fusion 5 USB (ATSC,VSB8,QAM, HD Tuner, USB) Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 950 (ATSC, VSB8, HD Tuner, USB)

Is classic accuracy still alive anywhere in TX?
pwln replied to GLIDEANGLE's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Check with Skydive Spaceland. I'm pretty sure they do it there. You can also go to http://www.styleandaccuracy.com -
Here is a recent thread about 300 lb hma. This may not apply here but is really worth reading. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3281115;search_string=hma;#3281115

Remembering September 11th (From the PD Blog)

I have 5 tv tuners at home recording 5 different channels from 9am until 1 pm today. I'll look at the footage when I get done working for the day. Maybe I'll dial in and set them to record the news tonight as well. -
I got my wife an Acer Aspire about a year ago and she has had no problems with it at all. The wireless and bluetooth switches are on the front but they have not posed a problem yet.

16.5k sunset load. Everyone was checking alti's wondering if the pilot forgot about us back there.

Press the call button and ask if you can get out, Please. You would get your ass beat by everyone else on the plane.

Every time I'm in the car I ask my wife. Maybe that's why she has never done it.

Isn't that every guy?
