2. Brilliant (Chinese perspective) the great British potato This one is brilliant, http://www.scmp.com/news/china-insider/article/1512672/bite-china-parody-tongue-cheek-take-british-food Don't get me wrong, I'm not against British food most traditional recipes when cooked properly are world class (taking into account the British climate ) and British cheese and puddings are the best in the world, except for cheese cake (NewYork cheese cake is just yummy, I know I bake 10 a week) This is a tongue in cheek post. edit. Top your cheese cake with black cherry jam or wild berry syrup. OMG Gone fishing
3. I think you're right. I asked my wife and here in Spain the kids call a female teacher Senorita es igual si esta casada o no. I can only imagine that if in the UK one of her pupils called her Madam she'd of had an epileptic fit. Gone fishing
4. At the moment I'm around 250 lbs at 6ft, I'm a really bad eater, I can't stomach eating at breakfast time, I'll pick at what ever I'm cooking at lunch time then eat a hearty meal at around 21.30. Before I became a cook I was always around 170-175 lb Funny thing, I have noticed that before just before each divorce I seem to return to 175 lb. So in conclusion if you want to lose weight get a divorce. Gone fishing

"I imagine you have a specific scenario in mind. A general question cannot always be answered. If you can present a specific (actual or hypothetical) factual scenario, it may be easier to answer your inquiry." Yes I do. If said person left the USA to study abroad and never returned, but kept their US citizenship/passport, IE, to keep their options open. Would that person be liable to taxation on monies gained outside of the US. Gone fishing

Dual nationality

Lets say some one who was born in the USA of British parent/s then takes up the right to hold both passports but chooses to reside in the UK. Question- Is said person a bona fida citizen of the USA and held resposable to American law. Gone fishing

13. The lorry driver was wrong, the Biker was wrong, they should both be prosecuted. In all three countries I've lived in that overtaking maneuver is illegal. And yes I rode bikes for over thirty years I used to do exactly the same thing I some times wonder how I managed to make it to sixty. Think once, think twice .think bikes Gone fishing
14. Jesus Christ, is it so difficult to strap them to a chair and use a humain killer (read cattle ) to the back of the head. It could be remotely controlled and being punched directly into the cerebellum, they could even have an open coffin after if so desired. Note.: I am only in favour of the death penalty if capitol murder is proven 1000% Gone fishing

16. "if bumming isn’t going to cause divine retribution, a little creative agriculture should be okay" Creative agriculture is fine by me, but remember that here on Earth we have a higher power than the Almighty... Monsanto won't like it. Gone fishing

23. My place is 21 square meters. (226 square feet, according to google conversion) It's certainly not the smallest place in the world, but it's not exactly big either. Sounds like about a 10' X 22' or about 15' X 15'. Yeah that's small. My master bedroom by itself, is bigger than your apartment. Damn... Hell, mines (house) 2700 square meters or 29,062 square feet an it's still not big enough. Gone fishing
