  5. Alright, I guess this is my time to see Xkeys. I cant wait to see some poeple I havent seen in a while, make some sweet freefly jumps, and party my ass off. I hope I dont get too outta control . So I would be up to share a room, if there is still a spot. I dont think im gonna camp, but I might bring it just in case. I might not be able to drive saturday night. See you all soon. And Hey! someone put me on the "list" PJ
  6. Thats a tough question. There are so many ways to go with this. I think 100 jumps would be a good overall. I didnt wait that long. I did see some minor incidences related to unawareness though, 1st hand. I think it will vary with most people. After you exited the aircraft 100 times you should feel relitively aware of your body in freefall and under canopy. You are a bit more at ease with skydiving and all that. So most would say at 100 jumps you could safely experiment with relitive flight. The biggest part I think is education. Why you need tight gear, and what corking is all about, all the reasons why it's not like an RW skydive. If you got all the right gear, know your limits and go for it!! Get coaching! Ask local freeflyers on your DZ for gear checks. PJ

  16. Jumptown, in Orange MA, had some trouble with weather and stuff but we did get our tracking dive up as well. Amy Chmelecki led the memorial dive and it was great. A thin layer of (haze) stung our faces for a good 20 seconds, but it was well worth it
  17. O ya, we can get you in the air. We have a rental rig and probably someone will let you borrow one. We are very welcoming PJ
  18. Hey everyone, Amy Chmelecki will be freefly organizing and coaching at Jumptown in Orange, MA this coming weekend 7/17-7/18. Come out and join in on the fun. If you have not been to Jumptown, this would be a great weekend to visit. The Sugar Gliderz were here last year and organized some great skydives. What a bunch of energenic freeflyers. Amy will be organizing skydives for freeflyers of all levels.
  19. Ya, take it frome Joe! Ok, Im a club member and probably biased, but we really are the shit! It really is amazing that one of the most heard comments of Jumptown is its way of welcoming visiting jumpers. We have Amy Chmelecki of the Sugar Gliderz freefly organizing and coaching that weekend (july 17-18) see you there PJ

  23. I was lucky to replace my PC 101 with one from EBay. I was kinda scared to use ebay for something so expensive. But I actually got a good deal, $425. It looks pretty much new
  24. Besides the tape, anything else survive the fall? Amazingly, the helmet landed with the lenses facing up. My fisheye still lens is scratchless and works. My diamond .3 lens is also sweet. I even saved my dytter and helmet. the sony cam and my still camera are pretty much junk from impact. O well, at least it didnt hurt anyone PJ
