i had 1200 jumps on a 150, then about 50 jumps on a 135, then went to a xfire 119, then shortly thereafter played with the 109. and it still was a difficult transition. the 109 scared the crap out of me for a while. it dove much quicker than expected. it is a learning curve not to be reconned with. if you ARE going to do that and not listen to the wise people in here. be VERY VERY VERY careful. your mind isn't trained to deal with the speed that this thing can produce with you underneath it. it opens differently and sensitively...plus fly's, sets up, and lands way more quickly. the stearing is sooo sensitive. a 135 is a better option - if ANYTHING. But my personal opinion is that 300 jumps on a 150 is not long enough. The 1200 on my 150 provided me with a knowledge of accuracy that is attainable on a canopy. Now, I am on a 107 and strive for that same respect. Be mindful dude and keep your eyes peeled. One of these things can mess you up bad. It happens ever weekend in this sport; unfortunately.

Chronicle 1 is so old school. That was the shit. People were like dang...he's doing a layout. And that music is so....grooovy.

They did a lot of Offspring in their stuff too, but I can't remember the version of Chronicles for which they were used.

There is also a section in Worthless Eye Candy that has the basics as it pertains to USPA scoring. The moves are textbook.

To increase chances of survival into a body of water....(umm, it would have to be about 40 feet deep)... You would have to cup air to slow down to about 90 (if possible). Get some tunnel time, that may help. And then, at about 80 feet from impact, go into a missle-like standup - very quickly, stable, hands by your seems at about 20 feet - do it later to avoid instability when transitioning. Upon impact, wait 2 seconds and spread your body out wide to avoid descent underwater. Then, if someone sees you go in, they can help rescue you, because you will be unconscious from the shock to your body. CPR, return to conciousness, avoid further injuring your broken limbs, etc. etc. Otherwise, just do what Armour said, aim for something cool. Like the snob jumpers car at your dz who shows in his ferrari or viper, if not a beemer is always good too. Avoid planes, that just isn't cool.

I've tried to get people to come to this event. Groups...sharing expenses...load organizing by ECFF...etc...and the other fun stufff...night life and rides and shit. Dude, very few people have the ability to afford the sport as is...and it seems to be a stretch for the hobbiests. I agree though, the year that I did go it was well worth the little extra funds to spend a weekend down at Wildwood and swoop on the beach - Labor Day kick ass demo. Shit man, people can be borinnnngggg!!! Too bad it is less appealing to the masses. Have fun out there!
