  1. Now you're talking. Stirring it up... Z-Games at the Easter Boogie. Big Way Preps, Snake-eye Pylons, Z(AD) Challenge, Swoop Comp Starting now...
  2. Yeah, Zhills is about the best one that you will find.
  3. You've got respect for "the man" and wish to race him again. I've got respect for you. I've been vertical since 97 and only ask a warranted response. The same kind of response that "the man" should provide you. I think you're the shit dude. So why not give it a shot? I'm sure O.Z.1 has a similar perspective. In 98, I visited Zhills and asked for a flight or two. The tribe looked at me like I was in AFF. By the time I was good enough, Space Games was dead. Why would a person need to earn an icon's respect before they win a friendly competition? I've done my share. Anyone in the game for 11 years could be considered a pioneer. Vertical is only on its 15th year. And we all contribute in our own way. Truly, I have no beef at all. Like I said. I just like racing, carving, and pylon's. It's a dead competition that should be reconsidered. All the games are. Nothing wrong with a friendly competition to stir things up. You're great but would be surprized, I'm sure, and likely get a run for your money. $2500?...that's just superfluous. Even silly. Drumming up a crowd is what it's all about for me. This could do it. Wouldn't you want to sweep the floor with my arrogant ass? Shit, you would get to beat a former Marine and a 'talking-shit nobody' who thinks he's climbed the ranks after the greats spat on him for asking for a fly back in the day. But, if you want to back off, I still would understand. Guess not much changes. You know me man, we spoke on the phone a few months ago. I work with Martin and John at EC now. Just trying to have some fun and make shit happen. I'll see you at Zhills right after the new year. See you around.
  4. Black cheese rains. You'll feel the pains. In your pants will be shit stains. Get out of my way, you're in my lane. Winner takes el' cappe. No 2500 bone sweep. Just the caps. I'll build a wooden stand for the helmets to be mounted - trophy style. Loser pays the pylon slots. Ladies and gentlemen, there's a tournament coming to the city. On the Christmas boogie boat. Sets sail from Skydive City and makes port at the dock in the Blue Abyss. East Coast hosting. Come out and cheer or join us for the "Running of the Hats!"
  5. Winner takes helmets. Your yellow full-face will look nice on my mantle. Done. See you at the door.
  6. No. No beefs. Just flying. Pure speed and hairpins. If it pleases, I'll put a snake-eye sticker on the back of my Gath. It will be the only thing you'll be seeing during the chase. Marine against Army Person. Old-school vs. new-school. Christmas boogie.
  7. All I got is play pimp. Ride down and try toying the columns. You need a transition handicap at the pylon? Christmas boogie... Rob and Jay take jump commission from the pot.
  8. Come back home Colon. I will race you for 10% that rate.
  9. Yes, it's possible. There are several dropzones on the east coast, in America, that practice atmonauti angles. It is a regular practice at Zephyrhills and other Florida DZ's. Crosskeys is another VERY atmonauti-friendly DZ. Some other places that are familiar with the angle flying is the Ranch and the Georgia dz's. There is a movement in northern Europe happening that encorporates the transition you are referring (atmo to head down to atmo again). It is called tracing. Tracing is similar to atmonauti but requires a higher degree of precision. Groups of 4 or more exit, begin angle flying and close slots (almost docked), then turn the angle of attack to head down, consistently turning the group left, right, steep, shallow, and back to neutral. It's fascinating to watch and well calculated. Here is a link to the Nordic Meet with the "tracing" that is referred. It's about 70 mb: http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php?action=guestpass&id=1g99y
  10. We just made a "Challenge Ball". It flocks.
  11. East Coast Freefly is having a great start already. The Muff Brother boogie should help us make it a more exciting start. The Turkey Day Boogie is going to bring a nice turnout of freeflyers. East Coast is providing freefly organizing during the boogie weekend. (actually we do this every weekend). But Martin, Klueg, and I will be here running atmo, 4 way VRW, tracking, drill dives, ball jumps, and 3-ways for the lower experienced freeflyers. Come out and play!
  12. Actually, it doesn't matter if he understands how the electorial college works. The fact is that both McCain and Obama know how it works. They were the one's trying to obtain a victory. Both candidates knew the rules. McCain lost the race because he was standing at the bottom of the landslide of electorial votes. OUCH
  13. i'm thinkin wtf man. but i'm saying...well, i guess i'm saying the same f'n thing. you in AZ this month simon? if so, we gotta push some more limits.
  14. Yeah, I assigned a Jit last year and he dissappeared. HAHAHAAA
  15. this thread is gay. oh, sorry, homosexually correct
  16. 33 points, I think. Damn.
  17. Dude, I don't know if I'd be takin baseball bat in freefall with me. Perhaps a bowling ball would have been better. ?
  18. Hey Andrew, It's dave. For a little while, get into the habit of pointing your toes forward. There are a few stages of these natural habits to be conciously aware of in the beginning. From the pics, I'd say you have to start flying a little more aggressively. Always Be Flying. It's hard to relax when you're freeflying. Relaxation takes time. Work your way into a good neutral sit is the first goal. Being comfortable enough to drive around and returning to the neutral is the second. The third is changing body position in place (taking docks, transitioning, etc.) Then you move to the really good stuff. Peace. See you back at Zhills. Vertifly
  19. no. you're a belly troll. go away.
  20. Hey everyone!!! Hey Katie, Have you met Howie? How's he doing?
  21. Thanks to everyone at Skydive Carolina. Definitely one of the best dropzone's that I've been to - all the way around. That goes for facilities, hospitality, dropzone layout, safety, grounds, beer, food concession, and manifest office. You guys really rock the sport. It was fun to have the opportunity to teach a lot of freeflying to the local jumpers - and visiting jumpers alike. I hope to visit again and see everyone soon. -Dave C
