Good luck with that. Last time I was in Deland I had a hard time finding freeflyers willing to jump with me. I hadn't been there before, so I was introducing myself to people in freefly suits and asking to jump with them.. and people just said no. I wasnt interrupting any team training.. and I dont totally suck either. Norman and Nicole Kent took pity on me (poor me.. ) and we made a kick ass jump.. but other than them, I found the hospitality seriously lacking. Maybe it was just a bad day at Deland but that was my experience. I hope yours is better.

Ideally, I know what pattern I'm going to fly and where I'm going to land before I get on the plane. And then make adjustments depending on the spot, traffic, etc. However I always know where I'm *not* going to land.. like in the trees.

Thats at the Dublin Boogie... cause thats my buddy Big John in the background and he only comes to Atlanta for Dublin. Jello shots run rampant in Dublin.

I was sick for a while but I'm back in to it now. Just signed up for a 5K so I'll be working on that.

Me too.. West TN Skydiving, although the DZO is a USPA national director. His dz is not USPA. Nice place though, I've jumped there quite a few times. Atlanta Skydiving Center (ASC) lost their USPA membership for unorthodox business practices. I'm sure there are more.
