Well here in perris or elsinore 2500 or below I am going out on the reserve. We have a lot of low mountains or high hills of dirt how ever you want to look at them, So 2500 on your altimeter might be 1000 to 1500 agl depending where the plane is. I don't think it is any higher in the skydiver community than anywhere else. We are a pretty divorce happy society anymore. Statistics run around a fifty percent chance of divorce. A lot of people take thoose vows for granted and figure when they are having maritial problems it is easier to just cut away. Wich like in skydiving is not allways the best thing to do Some people cutaway too low and burn in. Others cutaway before clearing there trash that is following and create more of a mess. Only the person that is along for the ride can tell what is actually best. In skydiving most people will try to clear a mallfunction. Or at least evaluate if it is posible. If they could and had time for it I am sure they would even seek help or advice before going to silver. But like in skydiving over a dense forrest and also in marrige. You have to decide before you cutaway if loosing everything, except your reserve ride, is an acceptable option. And you never know how that reserve ride is gonna turn out do ya. Well I hate to inform you , But that is the tactics here in Kalifornia. Lie decieve do what ever they can to get the guns off the street. I hate it but that is what they do. It does not matter here in Kalifornia whether the AWB sunsets or not seeing as how Kalifornia has a law that mirrors the AWB that does not sunset. so here it does not matter one way or another. In there effort to ban 50 calibers here the L.A. city council and police chiefs had a Barret semi-auto 50 cal with a ten shot detachable magazine at a city council meeting showing it saying this is what they wanted to get off the streets. The trouble is that weapon is allready illeagel to own in Kalifornia. And everyone of them except the law enforcment were in violation of a felony just holding that weapon at the meeting. But that does not matter to them as long as they can spread thier dissinformation they are happy. And unfortunatly it works cause the averrage person does not smell thier bullshit they spread. Automatic weapons are still legal in a few states. You have to have a special permit to own them but it is still posible. In fact you can rent them at some ranges in Nevada. Before the helmet law here in Ca I use to ride my goldwing with a baseball cap no helmet. Allways with leathers though. My sport bikes allways fullface helmet and leathers. And after 14 wrecks and going down on 5 of thoose I have never put a scratch on a helmet.
