Again, you show ignorance on what is being discussed here. There is no law in Afghanistan about eating or drinking water. As a matter of fact Qatar has laws about that. Afghanistan does not. I have been in both (actually currently in the latter one now). And on the markets here in Jalalabad, they sell plenty of fresh cooked meals during the day, ice cones, etc, and this was before Eid Mubarak. That you have to be respectful, yes, but in no way being hot, in a hot day, carrying over 50lbs of gear on, and no drinking water, is just absolutely no sense to think you are just being a prick and insensitive to their culture. You go to the extremes when it goes about respecting someone else, but what would I know right? Well you should, and I have, not only visited there but also have many cuban friends. It is not the same rosy picture you want to believe on how great the healthcare is in Cuba. People from the party, military, some police and people with means (read foreigners with money) are the ones that can get medication. If they would open the borders, as they did in the early 80's the exodus will be as big. You try to make it about the "cuban people", I am referring to the Cuban regime, and its treatment of its people. Do you know how many "doctors" are exiles in Miami. Almost 40% of the exiles I have known have told me they are doctors or engineers, there still only one that proved me wrong. I would not forcibilly stop anyone from doing anything that is related to only them. But I see that no one dares to get by any means to Cuba, the traffic is only one way from there. Outbound. The first gulf war in early 1991, in response to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, was Operation Desert Storm. Our 2003 invasion of Iraq is Operation Iraqi Freedom, or OIF, renamed from Operation Iraqi Liberation, or OIL. We have not yet completed OIF, despite what you may have read on a banner hanging behind Bush on an aircraft carrier parked just off the coast of the US. We're still stuck in the same ill advised war. Everybody lost in Iraq. The Iraqis lost a stable government and much of their infrastructure, as well as untold thousands of civilian lives. The US has lost thousands of military lives, billions of dollars, as well as credibility and respect among the rest of the world. Where did you possibly get the idea that we won? Again, a simple fact that you have no idea what is OIF 1-2 etc, and you still go in a tangent, absent from a reality, don't know a thing, but think you do.
