  1. Sounds like they need better transmission lines.
  2. Until you are convicted as a felon, and even that is subject to certain levels, you can vote.
  3. If your only defense of the politician is "Trump does it too!" There is no further argument needed, is there? That's a concession.
  4. You don't have to be a moron to be wrong.
  5. Perhaps - But my statement still stands. Damaging as in damaging the property of others. Those peaceful protests. He tried to send in enforcement. How did that work out? Statement still stands.
  6. The system uses wind. That's the only fuel or energy it uses. When wind runs out, so does the efficacy of the system. That isn't a design flaw. The design works. The only way to design a wind driven system that doesn't fail is to be able to manufacture wind for it to use. I'm not advocating against turbine use other than the horrendous visual you get. It is dreadful to see all that land cluttered by those monstrosities. I am hopeful that the tech will advance more quickly than it has. Again, it isn't a system design error, or flaw. Its an unavoidable inconsistency of the energy needed to drive it, due to its dependence on an uncontrollable energy source.
  7. He's not advocating the damaging protests, or refusing to enforce the law and order.
  8. Then all citizens should be afforded the same protection. She isn't anything special. She works for the public.
  9. This is true at the moment. But in the span of a few years I expect that they will find a way to afford it, and the tech keeps getting better. Don't resist tech progress and invention so much. Its that same progress that allows you to post while you are putting your kids to bed.
  10. A system design issue. How do you design for a lack of the only thing that makes your design work? That's like saying that a generator, powered by hurricanes, has a design flaw if hurricanes don't show up to power it.
  11. That question was for another poster.
  12. No - that's ridiculous. Do you think that in a few years when Trump isn't in office you will ban yourself from applying blame to him during another administration's term? Will any of his policies, reforms, or actions lead to anything you will blame him on in the future? Will you even be able to stop yourself? As I said - Trump is undoing both bad and good things done to Obama's efforts in Police reform. ETA - Why do you keep assigning false narratives to me? I thought you better.
  13. I agree that sounds reasonable. I also think that just the reduced traffic patterns will have a large impact in vehicle fatalities.
  14. Thanks. I was speaking to National - but State will do if I ever get the time I want to spend on it. It seems that they could maybe integrate the spread sheet. This is 2020 after all.
  15. There was a comment made on another thread that got me thinking. It's said that there are 170K (roughly) covid-19 deaths so far this year. So I did some googling, and this is what I found: 1) The CDC can track on a seemingly daily basis an individual number of deaths by covid-19. 2) There are no statistics for the entire year of 2019 on the website that I could find. 3) "NOTES: A total of 2,839,205 resident deaths were registered in the United States in 2018." 4) 14.9% of those deaths were influenza and Pneumonia related (423,042) [That is up .6% from 2017] Here is what I was thinking about: At the end of the year, when the calculations are complete, the number of Influenza and Pneumonia deaths should stay somewhere around 14 - 15%. Theoretically the numbers should be about the same, right? The Covid-19 deaths would be added to that figure, correct? So, adding in the Covid-19 respiratory illness to the flu and pneumonia deaths, we should expect total flu and Pneumonia numbers in the 760's this year. (Average 6 months to get to 170K . . . 12 months should be 340K) I wonder if there will be a decline in other deaths.

I don't know of any Christian religions that don't do the holy communion thing. Some more intensely than others - but still.
  17. Are you saying you have censorship in Canada?

    Q

Not necessarily truthful - but positive in your eyes. Kinda like religion does for some.
