Happy to answer any questions - our website will also be updated regularly
  2. Ho Hum, Competition is good for the market Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  3. Not saying that you would be afraid of death... in fact, I can accept most people could get their head around it.... However, if you had an indefinate amount of torture in front of you - it may well be fear of pain that gets you. Piss off the men - they may not kill you - more likely make you hurt .... for a long long time. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  4. I personally wouldnt put that down as a the same issue... The reference is aimed more at the skeleton costume than the child wearer. IMHO Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  5. Racist remarks aside... I'd be willing to bet, despite your "I'm hard' claims.... If you had been tortured for a day, youd beg as much as the next man. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  6. I dont think many people would have an ability to control their actions after subjection to torture... when minutes feel like hours, and you know they can keep you there as long as they like.... most people will probably say anything or do anything to make the pain stop. And as for refusing armed guards, I dont think a couple of guys would really make a difference to the outcome of this or any abduction.... lets face it, our joint armies armed to the teeth can easily be subjected to an unexpected assult, let alone one woman with presumably low risk. 7. Perfect place for a spelling mistake Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  8. Very nicely put - not too often I see a post that I think - I wish I had written that.... Things only seem crazy if you snip highlight words and look for them to be... All of the ASBO's I have seen I can fully understand the intent behind.
  9. Also, I guess if there is over 300 tons of the stuff.... en-mass that would be pretty destructive Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  10. lol... it took me a while to see what you meant there! looked ok the fist time I typed and read it! Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  11. Sorry Jeffry I disagree. Yes you raised a perfectly valid issue. BUT - you littered it with nationalistic slander that I can only assume you did out of a desire to provoke. If you want to be taken seriously, its very simple. Talk about this issues and not 'How crazy britain is' or how stupid the 'brits' are. If you think an ASBO is a bad idea just say that! If you dont want to be seen as a troll, dont post things that clearly look like it! As for Billvon putting me under an ASBO - nice reference - but I do believe I saw you call someone a 'pinhead' a short while ago ASBO your way! Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  12. Cant say I am dissapointed by this, as frankly I would write to my MP if our border controls allowed such an error Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  13. The difference EXACTLY is that the Bush campaign is not a restaurant chain, it is a political party that want to control the planets largest government. Given that a democracy is based on the will of the people - the issue is if not all the people can see the policies its not really on. Yes I know the voters are from the US, but you cant expect to keep good internation relations if the rest of the world dont know what you're about. Hell, what I am talking to you about international relations for Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  14. Not hard to believe, just one of many possibilities that I would not discount. The way I figure it, is most religions follow similar themes around decent behaviour etc... so that should be to hard to follow. The issue for me comes down to, is there one all singing all dancing omni-presence that has decided for whatever reason to give us no tangible sign its there and that it created us etc..? I find it just as easy to believe we were a pet science project for some other being - and hence evolution could be a part of that too... would I call that other being a god? not necessarily. I solve these problems by accepting the notion that it is beyond my ability to understand the nature of the universe... and if I was created - any God should bloody well accept me for what they made! Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  15. And if anyone posts Troll regarding America... or Bush... then I would say the same thing.. I am happy to discuss any issue, and also happy to point out when someone is being derogatory for no other purpose than to offend or create a reaction. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  16. Actually, its not the discussion on ASBO's that I think is Troll... If you read through this thread you will see I am happy to discuss the issue. However, in this and many other threads PJ makes remarks of a derrogatory nature to brits at every chance... and the emphasis of his remarks in this topic are really about loony britain etc.. not really the point. Feel free to read PJ's past posts and you will easily see what I am referring to... So nothing for me to get over. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  17. I would say that someone absolutley deserves to lose the right to play or own a stereo if they have demonstrated in the past that they are not responsible enough to show consideration socially. I would say its better to restrict certain rights than to simply allow offences to increment until imprisonment is required. As for ppl tellin PJ its a domestic issue, this is the latest of many troll type subjects he has posted... and hence people tend to reply more strongly I guess. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  18. Think I would do the same... if I wanted to ensure access for the people who vote! Although not sure the volume they must get from overseas would be that big surely?! Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  19. I dont think the ASBOs are a replacement for conventional prosecution, rather an addition step to help prevention of an offence again... Gangs are a good example, a group of youths that cuased trouble on one occasion would then be banned from congregating in groups. Although the examples here can be looked at with synacism I dont think each ASBO is used to replace punishment. For example the door bell one actually is sensible. Yes he should be and probably was prosecuted for theft... but its easier to secure a conviction if you see him at someone's door - when he shouldnt be... as maybe 20 doors may only result in one robbery attempt... and someone like that has no business randomly speaking to homeowners. Other examples were - Kerb crawlers prevented from entering red light areas... etc Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  20. So rather than charge her with a crime like, "Falsely reporting an incident" or something (we have that in the U.S.), they tell her she can't use the emergency service (which I assume is like our 911). So what if she ends up really needing it? Now, I realize that she was being a true nuisance, yes. But did she get a TRIAL before being ordered to not use the 999 service? Or is she punished without due process? Read it again... she was banned from Abusing not using. An ASBO is a way of controlling and identifying people that are an issue. If you had them... maybe you wouldnt have the gang culture you have grown. As for your crusade against Britain, try looking closer to home... or, as your battle for independance is over - Get over it. You have the freedom to mess up your own society, and based on the sum of your comments I think you are doing great job. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  21. Thats not what I am implying at all Aggie... Maybe breadline was a bad choice of words. I do believe however, that unless they have been refused increases for a great number of years and inflation has made a significant difference in their current position, that they signed up knowing the pay. I would back people in a position like theirs for a pay rise, and personally think that they deserve to be well paid. I dont believe they have the right to demand it, given they knew the vocation, I also believe they dont have the right to coerse it through mis-implementation of the law or guidelines. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  22. I agree with all of that... and that fines are not the best way to go... but if that was the case... and the police officers agreed with that, surely thats what they would normally do?! I can accept the argument that the reason to do this is to improve the way in which a law is enforced... but I still dont think it should be used as a bargaining chip for a pay deal. If they truely have absolutely no options, and they truely are on the bread line.. I am sympathetic to their cause. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  23. What else do I think they should do?... no idea... maybe vote with their feet - get another job... petition - peaceful protest... I am not saying they are in a nice or easy position... just that they should not choose how to enforce laws.... laws are passed through democracy and should be enforced as such - not the will of the police officers Alot of profession work-to-rule as a protest measure, its another step to make up the rules. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  24. Basically, I dont agree that the police offices have the right to make this sort of choice regardless of what other choices they have. Strictly speaking, the penalty for breaking the law (which a speeding fine or any other fine is) should be applied in a fair manner to all. In handing out a punishment, these officers are applying a bias to their decisions of a personal nature. Fines perform two functions, yes they raise revenue but they are also supposed to punish and prevent re-offending. Do you think it would be fair that a motorist in one town is given a fine while another not given a fine because the officer wants to make a point? The guts of this is, they are applying law enforcement differently to get better pay... I sympathise with any professional that a difficult job and is not rewarded adequately. I just dont think this should be the way they protest. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
  25. Definition of murder - is unlawful killing however it is also used to describe killing in a brutal or inhumane way... check the dictionary. I would also argue that moral and pigs blood transfusion dont belong in the same sentence. Bodyflight Bedford www.bodyflight.co.uk
