I have been there 8 times and a couple of times at the worst of times to go there but i would not go this time. Not because it is dangerous but because it would suck. You will be safe there, you just will be put out constantly. It would be like sitting in an airport for a week. thats the vibe im getting from there. My partner is leaving on Thursday for Bangkok to meet a friend but she is dreading it because of what is going on you should not fear for your safety though. The thai people are wonderful and Bangkok is not a dangerous place, much further south maybe but not bangkok. MY partner and I really can not be bothered with doing the weeding. We have a Big corner section property with a very demanding garden. Also, the windows need a clean. As we have backpacked around much of the globe we thought we would put an advert up on a backpackers website. We offered a weeks accomodation for 2 females to come and do a days worth of gardening. So next week we have Crystal and Malene from Danmark coming to do the weeding and they get to share our spare room for a week and relax in our home. IN two weeks time we have Melanie and Katrin from Germany coming to wash our windows inside and out and do a spring clean for a weeks stay. Not only do we get a hell of alot of boring housework done for us but we get to spend two weeks getting to know four like minded travelers. Cant wait for the Danes to get here as I am hanging out for some Frikadeller. Should be a nice way to kick off the warm weather. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

For educational purposes: How are they so certain this will hit New Orleans? Looking at the map, it is just as close to other places as it is to the track it is shown. Is there any chance this could miraculously change paths? Any chance? From what I have been reading, this storm sounds like some serious shit. Is there much of a population there after the last storm? If it does change paths are the people in neighboring states getting ready to evacuate as well? Where I come from I have never experienced even a small hurricane or tornado as they are not known so we are not really educated on this type of weather. Also, Is everyone evacuating or will there be people staying and taking their chances? If so, then Why, when it sounds like certain death from the news reports? If any of you guys are from this area and are still at an internet connection and not sitting stuck on the highway somewhere, then Good Luck to you and your family, I literally can not begin to imagine what you are going through right now.
