Wouldn't it be the federal full faith and credit clause of the Constitution that prevents states from refusing to recognize driver's licenses from states they don't like? Florida lets kids drive (full licenses) at 16. NY doesn't let them have a full license until 17 with driver's ed, or 18 without it. But NY doesn't refuse a 16-year-old from Florida with a Florida license the right to drive in NY. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Why waste your time asking? Bleeding hearts do not fucking CARE! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Yeah, I mean, uh, 'cause kids just drop dead in twos all the time. And then what's an adult to do but conceal the bodies?? I mean, you'd do it the same way, I'd do it the same way! Who are any of us to go jumping to conclusions that two dead bodies of children in a freezer for months is a hint that someone committed a much more serious crime?! The noive of us! Police confiscate walking stick as a "weapon"
birdlike replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Holy fucking shit. Nine people so far have answered, "Walking sticks are dangerous weapons" and I presume that they mean to support the idea of not letting people have them. Holy fucking shit. You know what I have to say to that? "Steak knives are dangerous weapons." No one should be allowed to have them, either. Why would it be wrong for me to call the people who believe this idiocy nasty names?!?! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire -

Stop looking for sense from the kinds of people who think that crime will be fought by going after the tools. Or in this case, the "NOT-the-tools"--because who equates a fucking walking stick with an "offensive weapon"?! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire -

You're a smart girl... Doesn't seeing this kind of thing, and the lunacy of it, just sour you on the whole "restrict-the-weapons, not-the-dangerous-people" mentality? I mean, who can get behind knife laws, gun laws... when they see this being the result of that kind of mentality?? Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire -
I am not certain that preemption works in reverse, and keeps a city or town from making things LESS stringent than state law makes them. Can you verify that it would? You are the one, after all, making the assertion. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Even though it's obvious, since 40 states have passed shall-issue concealed carry, that the majority supports the right and not the restriction? I have more confidence than that. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Reading if fundamental - too bad you didn't read the amendment to the bill - Obama voted "Yea" HAHAHA!!!! Billvon is BUSTED!! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

What the fuck does that mean?! Really? Despite the fact that the CDC could not establish that the AWB did ANYTHING to help reduce gun crime?! And since when does the military issue semi-automatic, NON-select-fire rifles to soldiers? So much for "such weapons belong on foreign battlefields"... And they call the dumb motherfucker douchebag shitpile a "constitutional scholar." Here he is saying that we GET our rights FROM the Constitution! Personally, IF he gets elected, I hope he does move forward with efforts to eradicate gun ownership. He'll ignite a new civil war in the United States, which we will settle definitively, and that'll be that. And his legacy will be having caused a second civil war over his moronic, shitbrained idea that Americans shouldn't have guns, and he couldn't give up on a losing ideology. Bring it the fuck ON. Indeed, like stiffer penalties for those who commit murder in churches. Why the fuck should there be stiffer penalties for murders committed in churches? This of course begs the question, "So, Kallend, what in THIS LIST have you checked into and found false?" Answer: probably nothing--which is why rather than cite what's false, you just imply that something "must be." I've seen, over time, that this is your standard M.O. It's really pathetic to see in action. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Fact: actual senate votes are cited, and that's all you had to say in rebuttal. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Start teaching them how to tie cool knots! Start simple with the overhand knot. Don't teach them the standard dumb ways to tie their shoes. Go to this site: Ian's Shoelace Site I haven't been there in a while, so I just went again. It's mind-blowing how much variety there can be to shoe lacing! And the site is very well done. So when your kids go to school, after learning these knots, they will be the only kids whose shoelaces never come inadvertently untied. And they'll look cooler, too! Most people know far fewer knots than they really should. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
