my brother got a Godzilla a few years ago. I could not believe that he got his inheritance and went out and paid a hundred grand for a car he was not allowed to first test drive. actually no. What you should do right now as the usd is stronger than ever today, over the last five hours it has gone up against the gbp. You should contact HIFX and open an account with them and put your savings in to their bank. Then buy gbp with it. Keep it in their account until the usd gbp goes back up and them buy usd. The gbp on Thursday was worth 1.86 usd Five hours ago it was worth 1.80. Just now it is worth 1.77 I have a shot Load of money in their as Gbp waiting for it to go back to around 1.85 ad wollthen buy usd. Once the nail out has been announced it will go back to around 1.90. The usd is gettig stronger against all currencies while this bail out is not looking so good The reason I know this is because I have been monitoring this every 30 minutes for the past month. I have thirty thousand that I am waiting to exchange so my post is dead serious. It will drop slot more before Thursday and then on Friday will be more stable depending if re bailout is passed. Well he is not getting good customer service from his USA Icarus department is he. Seeing Icarus is made in Spain, would it not be better for him to go straight to the people in charge to sort out his problem? My guess is he sent it off to their repair centre(a DZ gear store) and got charged for the work he had done on it instead of actually sending it back to Icarus. Sedning it back to Icarus would involve sending it to Spain, Where Icarus is located and built (apart from the canopies built in New Zealand) Aerdoyne has a rep in Europe, however european customers dont go to him to get canopy issues sorted out, they go to the company he works for that is located in the USA. Why would you not go straight to the source? When i deal with american manufacturers, i phone them up in america. When i deal with spanish manufacturers i phone them up in spain. Hey all, Now the skyhook has been out and about a while and people have seemed to make their mind up about it instead of just debating it I am wondering if some of you guys have stories you would like to share about it and when you used and how you found it. The reaosn I ask is because I have alot of people ask me about it as there are not so many demos of the product in Europe. So these guys dont get to hear about it in action or see it. So if you have a skyhook and you have had it activate I would love to hear what the situation was and how you found the end result. I ask this for educational purposes. Yes, there is tons of threads on the skyhook but they are debating it, I would like to see this thread being one where people that have had it activate can share their story so we can have a thread to learn from their experience. If the police are on the scene of a death for an investigation, surely they do not need a warrant to carry out the investigation on the crime scene? Would that not make everything on the crime scene 'evidence', even it turns out at the end of their investigation that it in fact is not a 'crime scene' but just the 'scene of an accident'? On top of that, Do police not have the right to search and confiscate with 'reasonable cause'? Like they dont need to get a warrant to enter a premises if they see a guy shot in the head behind the counter? Sure, I can understand that if their was a death on a dz and then a day or two later they came to your home and asked for the camera that they may need a warrant then if you practise your rights. My questions come from having a family full of cops, One in particular who is a Inspector detective senior sargent who i use to go and watch in court during his days as a police prosecutor in New Zealand. Just been reading that one of the long time posters here Rob has had an unfortunate skydiving accident. I am not really the sending 'Vibes' kind of guy but he has been a big time contributer here over the past few years and I just want to wish him a speedy recovery. From the sound of the incidents sustained he is has come off very lucky and I just hope that is the case. On the flipside of it all I hope Francis Wootten III's family will be able to come to terms with what has happened and remember that he obviously left this world doing something he would have loved with all his heart as skydiving is usually the one of the strongest passions us jumpers have in life after family and friends.
