Ball park cost of a packing class?
airdweller replied to AEsco48's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
In my opinion; you get what you pay for. How can you expect someone to put their heart into something if they're not putting bread on the table by doing it? _________________________________________________________________________________________ Believe it or not, some people put there heart into something because thats what they love to do. There is a joy in watching people learn and progress in the sport I/we all love. I agree completely with skymonkey1, you shouldn't have to pay to learn how to pack, although a case of beer is a nice way to show your appreciation. ------------------------------------------------------ "From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?" It has worked and it is working now. Let's say you have two neighbors. Neighbor A has a house that he rents. He has a Camaro, a boat and a big SUV. He owes $75,000 in credit card debt, and has two kids that need to get through college. His plan for that is to get some more credit cards. Neighbor B owns a similar house. He has $30,000 left to pay on his mortgage. He has a Camaro and a bicycle. He has $25,000 in his IRA, and is going to grad school. His kids will be going to college soon, and his plan to pay for that is to work some overtime and apply for a better job. Which one is doing better? ______________________________________________ It depends, who has the hotter wife? ------------------------------------------------------ "From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?" I don't remember Taylor being in the bottom three yet, but I could be wrong. I hope he can do a Joe Cocker song at some point. That would be THE fight. I thought Gracie was retired.... __________________________________________________________________ Royce is still very active in the fight world with one of the longer MMA match in history 90 min against Japanese Superstar Kazushi Sakuraba in PRIDE Grand PRIX 2000, and total domination of the Olympic Judo Gold Medalist Hidehiko Yoshida in PRIDE Shockwave 2003. His largest opponent yet was Sumo Grand Champion Akebono, 6' 8" 486lbs. Royce vs. Akebono was the main event of K-1 Premium Dynamite New Years Eve show on 12/31/2004. Royce defeated the giant in just 2min and 13sec with a shoulder lock. I wouldn't count him out. Is he past his prime, remember Couture is three years his senior. I can't wait to see this match. ------------------------------------------------------ "From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?" C. Montgomery Burns
