I would assume that he was flying with the slowest vertical descent around 35mph which he could go faster vertical very easily which would cause death. The beech 99 is an awesome plane, jumped it 2 weeks ago in Aggieland. This plane is by far the most comfortable skydiving plane I have ever been in. We were able to lay down, stretch out and really enjoy. Could have been the fact it was Thanksgiving weekend and the most jumpers on the plane at one time was eight which was double the other 2 loads. It arrived about 1 week later in factory sealed box just as described--I thought it was a good deal. on ebay search sony pc 105. Had Tamer(TB99) in Texas this weekend. Made a few jumps bought a used suit (classic), and will order my custom GTI next week.--I never thought it would be that cool. Well this went off with out a hitch-- 3 used suits sold to jumpers at Skydive Salado and at least 2 GTI's to be ordered within a month. Thanks to Tamer for spending his money to fly over here and let us try out these suits-- He said he would love to come back and do it again in maybe spaceland or waller but he will need to be guarranted a certain number of first time jumpers to pay for the plane ticket. Tamer is here along with all the demo suits--the instruction will take between 45min and 1.5 hrs depending on how many questions and how thick the students are. The uspa recommends 500 jumps or 200 in the last 18 months. Canopy should be lower wing loading and performance for beginners and container must be BOC throw out not pull out pilot chutes. All of these are recommendations and can be waived by your instructor on a case to case basis.
