  1. Even if that is true, that is a problem. One would hope that a president of a major country is able to control his or her emotions and anger a little better. FIFY (taking out your anger is what husbands, military people, and secret service members are for) ... 2. yes...even if the initial investigations were reasonable, all the followups were just political manuvering to fix a political result. and this one on Trump just skips straight to trying to fix an election result. In both cases, it's a waste of money and blatantly an indicator of out of control corruption of the worst kind - or at least intent my real issue is the frequent attempts to use government to control speech and actions - it's a bit more scary if you ignore the fact that the targets are high profile and just terrible people - and just think a bit about the abuse of authority that's being used as simply a political tool 'the ends justifying any means' is becoming common place - even with just individuals talking about politics lately - it's unnerving ... 3. Trump says and does enough batshit crazy stuff on a regular day. Isn't trying to manufacture a charge based on a sarcastic reference to Hillary's cover up just a bit too desperate even for this crowd? However, a "Trumped up Charge" will have new meaning and can be a daily thing going forward. ... 4. either way, eat too much shit (shit), too much bologna (nitrates), or too much lobster (mercury) without mixing in some fruit and veggies, and you get poisoned slowly over time I'm not sure where this metaphor goes now, but it is true (maybe Kallend will post something about how Reagan stifled the lobster fisherman, or Ron can post something about Bill Clinton screwing a crayfish....) ... 6. I understand it. What's ironic is: 1 - the bologna is apparently dipped in shit and shit by-products - but people that make bologna have a great ad campaign. 2 - If everyone that said they'd like to vote for lobster but can't due to the shit, would actually vote for lobster - pretty much lobster would be served. as an aside - shellfish are poo eaters, successfully turning other creatures' shit into a tasty meal. Pretty much the DNC position today is something akin to "The Prisoner's Dilemma" ... 8. You know the best strategy the GOP could deliver is to dump Trump and put up, anyone else. 12. Neither Hillary nor Trump getting enough electoral votes thanks to Johnson and Stein - and the Republican House waking up and deciding this is the time to knock Trump out and they overwhelmingly put in Johnson. 13. So many have those first two choices: Mine are reversed, but the same. Considering Gary and Bernie pretty much stand for exactly the opposite principles, it's a real statement on how crappy Hillary, Donald (and Cruz) really are to most people in the country. 14. They really, really, really, really wanted to. That wasn't secret at all. The opportunity never really materialized. If he'd only had one other opponent, I'm sure the same would have happened as the count would have been closer. Both cases show the absolute willingness of the two party system to just wallow in corruption. The Result? 1 - Dems - we get the poster child for the stereotype of the totally corrupt, two faced, career politician that will do anything for power and hates the very people she pretends to want to lead 2 - Reps - TRUMP - I don't think I even need to elaborate on this one ... 2016 DNC

"Don't boo, vote!" Paraphrase - "I don't care what you have to say or what message you are trying to get across" "vote" - yep, but guess what, we control who you get to choose from Initially it's a great quote - but deep down it's pretty clearly a statement of who he thinks is in charge -- that the voters they "own" are simply drones that must comply. We saw the same thing when the RNC shouted down Cruz too. (Don't mess with the two party monopoly - free speech is also discouraged in these private gatherings) yes please - "Vote" - write in Bernie, vote for Johnson, vote for Stein, vote for Castle - heck with them too, I'm writing in Wendy ... 19. Which candidate do you think the Russians would prefer: A) Inexperienced businessman who wants to dismantle NATO, proposes pulling US troops off of forward deployed positions, has repeatedly complimented the Russian dictator, and who has significant personal financial interest in Russia. B) Highly experienced diplomat with a hawkish, pro-Europe reputation who wants to expand US international influence, understands Putin is our adversary, and doesn't have any personal stake in the Russian economy. Frankly, I suspect, like us, they are watching the DNC and the RNC with a surprised and disgusted look on their face, and just looking at each other and saying "well, we don't have to worry about the US any more" or "crap, no matter what, these guys will be completely bat shit crazy and we can't predict anything they'll do in the future" or "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" I'd wonder if there is any real benefit to them to release any e-mails instead of just keeping any 'real' intelligence secret to themselves. ... 21. Wendy is such a rabble rouser your implication that a team builder is automatically a better leader than than one that commands is not always true. A good leader is flexible and uses whatever leadership style is needed to get the job done. That's a bit different than Wendy's comment that team builder is a better presidential candidate than a commander (I agree for working with congress and foreign relations mostly). I'd posit that the President needs to be able to be both, depending on what the issue, department, mission is. Ability to be an excellent leader in any style is what's needed. (With two candidates that too quickly default to vindictive dictator, we are screwed). I've seen some successful CEOs that are very good at adapting to needs. I've also seen successful CEOs that force the company culture to adapt to their personal comfort zone of leadership. I'd rather work for the first kind. I'd insist the president be the first kind or he'd fail. The only generalization I'm really comfortable with, is that the adaptive kind tend to not have huge egos (again, we're screwed) - and the CEOs that are HUGELY successful seem to be the 2nd kind - so it's a bit of a flipflop and hard to define.. ... 22. Sadly enough, it were 3 attacks: Würzburg: Knife attack, no dead, several injured. Islamic terror attack/background; Munich: Shooting rampage, 10 dead (incl. attacker), many injured; no Islamic terror background; Ansbach: Planned bomb attack, the idiot accidentially blew himself up; no further dead persons, several injured. Islamistic background ? Attacker had to be expelled, back to Bulgaria. The 4th incident was a private tragedy, where culprit and victim were related. (Syrian refugee killed his pregnant girlfriend with a knife and injured several bystanders.) 24. It all makes sense now. 1 - The Russians purposely did NOT hack Hillary's private server. This was intentional to fool people into thinking they were complacent. 2 - Now, when it counts, they hack the DNC's servers and uncover (well, pretty much the kind of crap we expect from both parties - unless one is a partisan sycophant. Mainly, truth that the parties consider the populace to be lesser beings that can be fooled into voting for someone for whatever they're pretending to be selling. I'm also certain that hacking the RNC would find nearly identical correspondence) 3 - All of this in order to put a wild card unknown with out of control overreaction tendencies into the white house. because they think a republican in the white house would respond less vigorously to a Russian attack on Europe than a democrat. ... 25. Well, there you go again - saying things like "it depends on the leadership style of the individual" If you can't just take some tired stereotype of a CEO and then make broad statements about their ability to be president, you're just wasting our time with your 'reasonable outlook' on people. sheeeesh ...
