  1. I started playing this game today. See if you can beat my score of 15,565 (see file). Game: http://media.ebaumsworld.com/squares.swf Very addicting... But there's sure to be some bitching about laptop mouse pads.
  2. -Shooting as a hobby at 8 -Started Scuba at 11 -Flew my first aircraft solo at 14 -Jumped out of my first aircraft at 14 (tandem) -Serious car accident at 16 (not my fault) -First bungee at 16 -Aerobatic competitions 17 -Dropped out of college to pursue Wakeboarding at 18(while living in a state where it snows half the year) -Competed pro for 4 years... Succeeded -Broke up with my perfect GF and moved to Florida -Moved back to Colorado -Motorcycle racing and accidents (my fault) -Went back to college -AFF, 4-way, FF... everything skydiving 22 -Got married at 23 (same GF, best part of my life) -Invested and organized to build a wind-tunnel -Dropped out of college (again) to work for a great company (and moved to Florida) -Resigned from the perfect job to become a Pro Golfer at 25 -More serious car accident at 25 (also not my fault) -Hitting balls until my hands bleed. Basically... I think risk determines success. Adventurous is taking that risk for the sake of the experience. No decision made of fear can be a good decision. Rationality or risk v. benefit is acceptable, but fear is totally perceived. My 2cents.
  3. Yup... found the same. Thx. Here's the scoop --> http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/aircraft/fa-37.htm http://www.breakthechain.org/exclusives/fa37talon.html http://www.snopes.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=48;t=000397;p=1 Damn nice looking anyway...
  4. Mystery jet... The attached photos were passed onto me by a friend. Can you name the aircraft? I was told what it was, but I'm not sure I believe it. Hoax? Sorry if this is a repost.
  5. Here is a post card image I doctored up earlier today. See attached. We moved down from Denver to Orlando this last year and have been amazed by the recent hurricanes. Still better than snow...
  6. Is he in is own office? Does he have his own fax machine? I may be able to help...
  7. Damnit! Damnit! I knew I would miss and repost. I am such a loser. jk. Bush, Kerry, and JibJab... but atom films would not have been a bad idea in hindsight. But seriously, thanks for the heads up. I think there'll be enough infrequent visitors to hopefully enjoy it a 2nd time around. This is only the 2nd time, right???
  8. I thought this was great and just had to share with all of you. Click here --> http://www.jibjab.com I did a quick search and did not find it in the forums. If I was wrong then I'm really sorry. Hear the sarcasm? So who do you think it's "pushing"? This song is worse than It's a Small World. Hehe. Enjoy. Brannan
  9. Your eyes are turning brown. You know what I've learned from lots of time around pals. The ones that spend time with girls on their arm get the girls in bed, and the girls come back for more. The ones that spend their time telling about how hot this girl was they "did yesterday" or "how big they are" usually did not get the girl and are the ones trying to find out where to get Levitra. It's like having a an email [email protected] and planning your 4th AFF while on the 2 year DZ plan. Unbelievable.. literally. Three words... BLOW UP DOLL.
  10. I probably already had 20 hours in the tunnel (mostly belly), and then spent about 45 minutes in three 15 minute sessions with Joe and Rusty. Around that time I started to "bounce" off the net on my head but could not fly. I then tried daffy and after about 3 tries was up and stable. Transitions (front and back) to HD came quickly thereafter. I never jumped HD until after learning in the tunnel and found myself doing 5 way HD on my third jump. I would say overall though that HD takes about 4-5 times as long to learn as sit in the tunnel and requires much better spotting and "bailing" technique to avoid tracking into a wall. Attached picture is right after I got it. Definately the best feeling in the tunnel!

  12. Haha. I'm impressed that you caught that. Damn nice picture of the KingAir.
  13. Thomas Hughes caught this right before Pete Allum, Alex Jordaan and myself let go.
  14. Just wanted to let you know that there are some videos on tunnelcamp.com that show good body position for RW and Freefly. click to http://www.tunnelcamp.com/videos.asp
  15. I also have done this on J3 (float planes)... but tell me, why is the prop not wind-milling already?
  16. #3 is not real. This is xenofex photoshop work. I went and built one in five minutes just to show. It is amazing that through computers and algorithms we can randomly duplicate a natural and beautiful phenomenon in nature. The cloud over mountain picture is really nice.
  17. I think this one also goes, "you can only ask them one question..." too. Just pick one of them, and ask them what the other would say; then do the opposite of that outcome. So let's say door A is death, and door B is life; and person 1 is liar and person 2 is truth teller. If you pick the person on the right (truth teller) and ask them what the other guy would say. He would know that the other guy is a liar and that he stands in front of door (death); so he would say that the other would say life. Therefore door A is death. Go through door B. If the layout is the same and you ask the person on the left (liar) what the other guy would say (about door B), he would know that the other guy was standing in front of life and that since the other guy was the truth teller he would say life, so he would say death. Therefore door B would be life. It's pretty early, but I think this works in all scenarios assuming that they know about each other. I think the original place I saw this riddle was in an eighties movie, labrinth. Old.
  18. Looks like my home DZ... Mile Hi.
  19. This is what mine looks like. The red is visible through the top and bottom yellow skin. I have had many compliments and will definately do my next canopy the same. BJ
