  1. What in the world are you drinking today? I want some.
  2. I added the paranthesis to help you understand it better. Apparently even that didn't work. In what species of dog language do you speak? I was using Golden Retriever talk, and perhaps you use German Shepherd which is different. By they way, what do you think Obama meant about his "flexibility"?
  3. News:Illinois residents can now legally mail order ammunition "Gun owners in Illinois will now be able to legally mail order ammunition from intra-state gun sales locations. "Senate Bill 681 passed the Senate on March 28. It allows an Illinois resident to buy ammunition through the mail from an in-state federal firearm-licensed retailer or seller of ammunition. “Only in Illinois would it be illegal to order ammunition from an Illinois point of purchase. Currently, a resident can purchase ammunition through the mail from Wyoming, Florida or any other state, but not here...”Full story: KFVS TV Logical and common sense, but will the Governor sign that bill? Rolling back stupid gun laws!
  4. News:SAF Wins 2A Case in Mass, Striking Down Gun Ban for Legal Aliens A Federal District Court Judge in Massachusetts today granted summary judgment in a Second Amendment Foundation case challenging that state's denial of firearms licenses to permanent resident aliens. U.S. District Court Judge Douglas Woodcock concluded that "...the Massachusetts firearms regulatory regime as applied to the individual plaintiffs, contravenes the Second Amendment..." This is our fourth court victory this month in our campaign to win back firearms freedoms one lawsuit at a time," said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan Gottlieb. "It is one more step toward repairing decades of Second Amendment erosion..."Full story: Wall Street Journal What he said! The SAF does more than the NRA in overturning bad gun laws.

  7. News:Another Gun Rights Victory from Second Amendment Foundation "A federal district court judge in North Carolina has just struck down that state’s emergency power to impose a ban on firearms and ammunition outside the home during a declared emergency, ruling that the provision violates the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. "The case, Bateman v. Purdue, was brought by the Second Amendment Foundation, Grass Roots North Carolina FFE and three individual plaintiffs... "In his opinion, Judge Malcolm J. Howard, senior United States district judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina, wrote, “…the court finds that the statutes at issue here are subject to strict scrutiny…While the bans imposed pursuant to these statutes may be limited in duration, it cannot be overlooked that the statutes strip peaceable, law abiding citizens of the right to arm themselves in defense of hearth and home, striking at the very core of the Second Amendment...”Full story: Reason Another bad gun law struck down, one that denied the right to keep and bear arms at a time when it was needed most. The Second Amendment Foundation just keeps racking up victories, one after another.

  9. Circumstances still not the same: I don't go around begging for other people to comment on what I post. I swear, people here are like a bunch of Pavlov's dogs. Ring a bell, they salivate. Just a bunch of knee-jerk responses without any thinking involved. Conditioned by past reflex. Reacting based upon emotion and hate, rather than reason and logic. Sheesh. There is no hope for humanity Speakers Corner.
  10. I'm pretty certain that the affect of either object would depend upon the presentation, and the kid. Kids see guns on TV probably a dozen times per day or more. Walking by a gun store is not going to be exciting for them, or give them an urge to go out and shoot someone. If it did, then this gun-o-phobe lady should be protesting to remove guns from TV also.
  11. Right. And DHS includes Border Patrol, which has armed officers. 450 million bullets for 5 years is 90 million per year. How many armed DHS employees are there?
  12. News:Department Of Homeland Security Is Buying 450 Million Bullets "The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office is getting an "indefinite delivery" of an "indefinite quantity" of .40 caliber ammunition from defense contractor ATK. U.S. agents will receive a maximum of 450 million rounds over five years, according to a press release on the deal..."Full story: Business Insider I feel safer already.
  13. News:Mich. militia head, son plead guilty to gun charge A Michigan militia leader and his son pleaded guilty Thursday to possessing a machine gun, giving prosecutors their only gain in a domestic terror trial that was upended when the judge dismissed charges of plotting war against the government. Hutaree leader David Stone rocked in a chair at the defense table after pleading guilty and told reporters he was a "stand-up true American patriot" whose anti-government comments and bravado about wanting to kill police were not a call to attack the United States. He and six militia members were cleared Tuesday of conspiracy charges, which he called a "victory for everyone" who cherishes the First Amendment. "It's amazing how someone can take a comment out of context and make it to whatever they want it to be," Stone, 51, said...Full story: Associated Press The government, with all its money and lawyers, couldn't find these militia members guily of being terrorists. And yet some people still want to call them the "biggest terrorist threat to America".
  14. News:Woodbridge Gun Shop Meets Opposition "When Jane Opper heard that a gun shop could be coming to a Woodbridge shopping plaza, something just didn't sit right with her. "It just seems innappropriate. The teen center is just 100 yards away from it," she says. "It seems like a completely wrong place for a gun shop..."Full story: OrangePatch OMG! It's a gun shop! Those guns might sneak out the back door and crawl down the street and into the pockets of those teens a hundred yards away! Somebody's got to do something to stop this pending masscre! I wonder what the "right" place is for the gun shop, according to her? News:Protest planned over gun shop "Sheila McCreven is so concerned about a gun shop eyed for Selden Plaza that she has created a Facebook page urging residents to attend the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting April 2. According to the Facebook page, Peaceful Protest: Less Guns, More Peace, a protest will start..."Full story: New Haven Register Wait a minute, first she said she was okay with people owning guns, and now she's leading a protest for less guns? Which is it? Is she worried about that retired police detective who owns the shop giving away free guns to kiddies? She wants gun shops to be restricted like porn shops? Guns = Porn? Well, I guess that answers the question about where she thinks a good place is for gun shops. And she's also worried about the proximity of the gun shop to five businesses that sell alcohol, but she doesn't seem to be worried about all that alcohol near the teen center? Won't the teens get their hands on underage alcohol from all those establishments? Shouldn't those alcohol businesses have to relocate to the porno district with the gun shop?
  15. Circumstances are not the same. Do you have any doubt what my stance is on guns? Do you know what the heck cristelsabine is thinking about Obama's "flexibility"?
  16. You started the thread but didn't offer any opinions to talk about, so I'm waiting on you to kick-off the debate. Go for it. You seem to be interested in the topic, so say something about it. Don't wait for me.
  17. So how would you safely store your shotgun to prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to it, while at the same time making it immediately available to you for home defense?
  18. You raised a hand, I see .... Do you feel adressed, as that's usually your typical posting style? No, seriously: Is Obama expecting to be re-elected? What kind of allowances would he make for Russia? If any? And so on. So, don't be shy, JR. Let's hear .........
  19. Are you advocating keeping a loaded shotgun in the home for self defense, instead of keeping it locked up in a safe where it's not immediately accessible? I'm advocating that a shotgun is a better home defense weapon than a handgun. Storing either of them safely is a different issue. Putting a loaded handgun under a mattress doesn't seem like such a good idea. So how would you safely store your shotgun to prevent unauthorized users from gaining access to it, while at the same time making it immediately available to you for home defense?
  20. So shy don't you start the topic rolling by giving us your ideas on what Obama might do with this "flexibility" he claims he will have if he gets reelected.
  21. Even if he had given out the address correctly, it still would have been the wrong thing to do.
  22. Don't drink the tap water.
  23. I heard a news report that the other pilot persuaded him to leave the cockpit, then changed the code on the door lock. Yeah, I've seen that now in news reports. That was some cool-headed thinking. And luckily, there was another pilot on-board as a passenger, who stepped in to fill the empty seat to complete the flight. It must have been really creepy for that other pilot to see the signs of his partner going nuts in the cockpit, and wondering what he might do and how he should handle it. That man deserves free beer.
  24. Are you advocating keeping a loaded shotgun in the home for self defense, instead of keeping it locked up in a safe where it's not immediately accessible?
