A friend of mine from work told me this one today. His wife and him were checking out at the grocery store last night and a family was just ahead of them whith what looked like the nessicary supplies only. When there check for $90 did not go thru my friend stepped in and payed for it for them. He said he just couldn't stand to see the cart with the baby formula, milk bread etc.. not go out of the store with these people.

As far as being the oldest person there I was far from that. There was a couple next to us that showed all dressed up that had to be at least 50!!! I was like rock on Gram & Gramps!!!! It was quite amussing to watch them rock out! As well as make comments about the 2 16-17 years olds in front of us damn near having sex in there seat. Also if you are cautious of language around your daughter the MCR singer said fuck EVERY chance he got!!! Caught a Green Day concert last night and they brought down the house!!! The was even a "I'm Rick James Bitch!" Thrown in. What a great show. The kids even loved it (12&13). My buddy and I pulled into a Scion stealership looking at them when they first came out. A young (early 20 something) sales kid came out with all his pitches. Due to the popularity of the Survivor shows, Texas is planning to do one entitled, Survivor-Texas Style. The contestants will all start in Dallas, then drive to Waco, Austin, San Antonio, over to Houston and down to Brownsville. They will then proceed up to Del Rio, Midland, Odessa, Lubbock and Amarillo. From there, they will go on to Abilene, Fort Worth and finally back to Dallas. I'm not saying every one is a great upstanding citizen. But why catagorize a whole group by the bad apples. That can easily be done with every activity, club, etc... I have grown up around various clubs and met many criminals and many club members. There is a difference. I do know that there has been alot of trouble for the Hells Angels in Canada but all I have read is the News reports and we all know how reports twist thing around in our sport. Hells Angels support shirts cannot say Hells Angels or even HA. The Hells Angels logo and name can only be wore by club members!! All Hells Angels support apparel say "support your local 81" H eighth letter in Alphabet, A first letter. Most Shirts say right on the back in large letters "KNOWN ASSOCIATE". This has been reasons for other clubs to beat you up if not kill you if worn in the wrong area. And him not riding he probably did not realize how serious these clubs take there names and area. I live in a very large "Outlaws" area. I have a friend in the Hells Angels and a couple of other clubs all who do not get along with the Outlaws. I own shirts that do not get worn except for certain events just because of this reason. Motorcycle clubs get alot of bad press but sit down and talk with a club member sometime and you will change your stereotype. They love what they love and catch hell for it.. but they still continue to persue there passion...... Sound familiar??? Very nice!!!! I'm a painter as well. I have painted many helmets around SDC and a few other friends. I also paint a motorcycle or two from time to time. I can't be certain but here is how I would have painted it. Step 1: Prep work - Sand ,Sand Sand, get the helmet roughed up with some 320 grit 400 grit sand paper. Prep work is the key dull every thing up and this will help the paint bond to the helmet. Wipe down with a good wax remover degreaser recommended by the paint manufacture Step 2: Primer - I use a epoxy etching primer. This insures a good adhesion to the helmet. Let dry over night Step 3: Wet sand the primer smooth w/ 600 grit wet/dry sand paper. The paper will clog with the primer so keep it clean to eliminate large scratches. Once again sand until very spot is dull and all scratches are removed. Step 4: Basecoat - Spray on the basecoat in this case (Black or Dark Green). 3-4 even coats until you have complete coverage. Allow to dry for manufactures recommended time to keep the tape (next step) from printing or marking your basecoat. Step 5: lay out your graphics - Layout flames with 3M plastic 1/8" fineline tape. Mask up areas you do not want to paint. Step 6: Paint pinstripe - paint around the edges of your flames w/ an airbrush. Allow to dry then run another piece of fineline over the color you just painted to mask your fineline. Also run another piece of tape to cover the gap between the original flame layout and the pinstripe mask. Step 7: Paint Graphics Step 8: Highlights - High light the edges of your graphics to add depth to them with your airbrush. Step 9: Unmask and Clearcoat Use good materials!!!! Go to a automotive paint supply store!! Buy 3M masking tape (green) and fineline tape (blue) Also buy a Tack cloth!!! and wipe down with the tack cloth between EACH coat. I use PPG & Hose of Kolors Urethane automotive paints. Also don't try to jump right in and paint your helmet first. Cut a couple of pieces for steel or aluminum and practice.
