I understand the ppv getting to expensive. Back before we moved closer to work (1 hour drive) I had a core group of friends that all would show up and pitch in for the fights. End up running $5 each not bad. But now I am lucky to get one friend show up from here. There is no way I want to drop $45 a month to watch a couple good fights. I pay attention to the card and will only buy the fight if I think it is good enough. Otherwise I head down to BW3's or Hooters to catch the main event. but even then I end up with a $30-$40 tab. I don't think they will ever get away from PPV because people will always buy them and they make so much more. Bars pay a licencing fee of $1200-$1400 a year plus anywhere from $200-$400 per fight just to show it. Was nice watching the fights on CBS and Vs this weekend but they have yet to get the sponser money to pull together a card as good as UFC. unfortunatly. But we can always hope. At SDC especially summerfest there will never be a time whrn canopies are not in the air unless it's bad weather. Don't think the swoop pond is allowed. I am not sure about the swimming and fishing pond. I remember seeing a few dogs swimming in there last year a time or two. Nope Tim was released from UFC a few months ago. Signned to fight Fedor almost right away. Was not even announced on the Affliction fights yet. I think (my opinion) UFC might have released him knowing they have Randy tied up and this will take some hype off of the Randy vs. Fedor fight. They Affliction card looks stacked. Yep it jumped up and bit me right on the shin. Was riding the dirt park for the first time since they completly rebuilt it last weekend. They Had a really nice step up to double (8ft gap) straight into a double (inside and outside line) berm. Well lets just say I made the step up, cased the double and went head first into the small inside berm. must have slipped a pedal. The end result was a 3 hour wait in the ER for 7 stiches. I think I need to stick to my Velocity for the rush I need or wear my shin guards. This is 3 times in the last few weeks that I have pushed the limits allittle to much on 2 wheels. When will I learn I need to just jump for my adrenaline rush. Seems to be safer. Took this picture as I was waiting in the ER watching the Hockey game. I have had packers rock my world. when I go back and ask them how they pack it they have rolled the nose or shoved it in. Also pitching flat makes a big differnce as well. You need to take an extra half second or so. also don't look up right away on opening. (you will know if something feels wrong then look) let the opening happen then look up. stare at the horizon this will help you keep flat.
