  1. Any good trackers out there that can share their vertical speed during a good track? (Altitrack/FlySight) In a regular jump suit... And maybe with a tracking suit as comparison.
  2. No cutaway on those? We had one at the DZ Sunday. Picked up the freshly mowed grass and formed a nice little devil. Luckily it was after everyone had landed.
  3. If you're on a 240 now, then it's gonna be a 220 you jump next. Once you've learned that one, then a 200, then 190. Don't rush it, though...thats how legs get broken.
  4. Romney sucks, Obama sucks, yes we all know. Oh look! Another option! http://www.garyjohnson2012.com/
  5. Oh ya, that Airport looks GREAT! (See Attached)
  6. Do a palms to body while you're at it. Sorta like holding the wing on a wingsuit.
  7. Tonysuit Spacesuit $290 new. http://www.tonysuits.com/jumpsuits/spacesuit.php4 Get all supplex or spandex arms and back for extra slipperyness
  8. Tracking Lines 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm6dRQxQ1uA Note the body positions P.S. What do you all get in terms of down speed during a track? I'm still learning but when I consult my Alti-track, during my fullest track I have about a 103mph down speed vs. my 131mph belly fly
  9. +1 It may only be a little air foil but little is better then none
  10. I hate that. For some reason it makes me feel like I'm a soldier getting ready to do a suicide mission.
  11. That has me thinking. They should have removable velcro cudora butt and knee pads for your jumpsuit. Hopefully long enough to have reached my goal.
  12. I agree with ya on that lol. I learned about consequences after owning a sportbike for a few years...
  13. I passed my AFF with ease without ever doing or tandem or ever riding in a plane before...Idk if that counts as being good/natural... Or maybe I just smelt so horrible, that my instructor just passed me as quickly as possible just so they wouldn't have to deal with me anymore.
  14. I'd look into a "Powered Paraglider". They are Paragliders with a big fan on the back that propels you forward. These things can take your from the ground up to 12,000+ feet. It does require a bit of training, as well as just Paragliding. Very worthwhile to do, though. Paragliding you actually have a harness thats more of a seat and it doesn't strain your legs at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9orYHYuavoY
  15. Well, if this WWL kicks off well enough, people are going to be looking for anything that can help them gain even the slightest bit of performance.
  16. If it is, then they did the guy a favor...Time to upgrade!
  17. If you pee out of an airplane, will it turn the clouds below yellow?
  18. TonySuit recomments 25+ Wingsuit jumps before using the R-bird. Reference: http://www.tonywingsuits.com/products.html
  19. Now you guys have me questioning. I'm still a student and jumping a Nav200 out of AFF. I've stood up most my landings and the last jump was within 15' of target center. Now, I weigh almost 130lbs. So exit weights around 150. I was hoping to maybe be flying a 170 by my A, and eventually find a rig that packs a 135-150 main and use a Sabre2 150 after getting efficient with the 170. Is this pushing too hard? Not being safe? My reasoning for downgrading has nothing to do with being cool, it has to due with weight. Get a workout that wears me out from lugging around that bus of a student rig. Smaller seems easier to maintain and less risk of smacking it on things(like on exit). Just wondering...
  20. The country Sealand has the smallest DZ :P http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/5/54984/2484213-sealand-09.jpg
  21. Ya know, now that you mention it I do remember seeing it some time ago. They just updated the website and it is now displayed at the top of the page along with the Apache-Rebel and new pics of the suits. I have brain farts sometimes... http://www.tonywingsuits.com/
  22. Was browsing the Tonysuits site and noticed it was updated with the Rebel, as well as the new Fusion which appears to be almost ready for release. http://www.tonywingsuits.com/fusion.html Thought I'd share.
