  1. All six of those unindicted co-conspirators have a hell of an incentive to flip on Trump while they are still unindicted co-conspirators.
  2. I'm thinking this may be preparation by Rudy to launch his own campaign for 2024.

  6. Heather Cox Richardson take a crack at who the co-conspirators are: The indictment referred to six co-conspirators without identifying them by name, but the details included about them suggest that Co-Conspirator 1 is Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani; Co-Conspirator 2 is lawyer John Eastman, who came up with the plan for then–vice president Mike Pence to use his ceremonial role of counting the electoral votes to throw the election to Trump; Co-Conspirator 3 is Trump lawyer Sidney Powell; Co-Conspirator 4 is Jeffrey Clark, a Justice Department lawyer whom Trump tried to push into the role of attorney general so he could lie that there had been election fraud; Co-Conspirator 5 appears to be Kenneth Chesebro, a Trump attorney behind the idea of the false electors. The identity of Co-Conspirator 6, a political consultant, is unclear. Letters from an American
  7. But imagine the possibilities if you could turn it into a flux capacitor!
  8. MSNBC is saying that #1 is Rudy, and #3 is Sydney Powell.
  9. And even more winning!!! Michigan prosecutors charge Trump allies in felonies involving voting machines, illegal ‘testing’ Matthew DePerno, a Republican lawyer who was endorsed by Trump in an unsuccessful run for Michigan attorney general last year, was charged with undue possession of a voting machine and conspiracy, according to Oakland County court records. Daire Rendon, a former Republican state representative, was charged with conspiracy to commit undue possession of a voting machine and false pretenses. A lawyer listed on court documents as representing Rendon could not be immediately reached for comment by phone.
  10. And the knuckle-draggers get really cranky when someone points out the music video contains video shot elsewhere on the planet: TikToker who debunked Jason Aldean's 'Try That in a Small Town' video receives racist, violent hate mail In a TikTok video that's gotten at least 1.5 million views, Stark found that two of the clips in the video came from stock footage. One showed a woman flipping off police at at labor day event in Germany and another was a commercial stock clip of a molotov cocktail. ... Trump's $475 million 'big lie' defamation lawsuit against CNN dismissed A federal judge has thrown out Donald Trump's $475 million defamation lawsuit against CNN, in which the former president claimed the network's description of his election fraud as the "big lie" associated him with Adolf Hitler. If the jackboot fits, wear it.
  15. That is a 5 year old article. Here is one from March: Tesla shareholders: Who owns the most TSLA stock? Elon Musk is Tesla’s largest individual shareholder, owning 412.6 million shares, representing 13.04% of the stock.
  16. No. I'm talking about removing the clown from management. Wikipedia: Shareholder rebellion Shareholder rebellion occurs when the owners of a corporation work to throw out management or oppose their decisions.
  17. Time for a shareholder rebellion: Survey Shows Elon Musk Is Driving Tesla Model 3 Owners Away From The Brand And: Tesla created secret team to suppress thousands of driving range complaints Tesla years ago began exaggerating its vehicles’ potential driving distance – by rigging their range-estimating software. The company decided about a decade ago, for marketing purposes, to write algorithms for its range meter that would show drivers “rosy” projections for the distance it could travel on a full battery, according to a person familiar with an early design of the software for its in-dash readouts. Then, when the battery fell below 50% of its maximum charge, the algorithm would show drivers more realistic projections for their remaining driving range, this person said. To prevent drivers from getting stranded as their predicted range started declining more quickly, Teslas were designed with a “safety buffer,” allowing about 15 miles (24 km) of additional range even after the dash readout showed an empty battery, the source said. The directive to present the optimistic range estimates came from Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk, this person said.
  18. I could imagine this as a John Cleese / Michael Palin skit.
  19. I just watched the PBS documentary I posted in post 111. A couple things I learned: 1. The jury (all white of course) acquitted based on the defense's argument that they could not prove the body found was Emmett Till. Thanks of course to the face being beaten beyond recognition. 2. 4 months after the trial, the two murderers sold their story to "Look" magazine for $4000. Thanks to double jeopardy rules, they could tell what they did without fear of prosecution. Their story did not impicate anyone else, although there is suspicion other people may have been involved.

  21. How insecure must a redneck hick be, to worry that a 14yo kid is going to steal his wife???
  22. With Mrs. Bryant’s death, the truth of what happened that August day may now never be clear. More than half a century after the murder, Timothy B. Tyson, a Duke University historian who interviewed her, wrote that she had admitted to him that she had perjured herself on the witness stand to make Emmett’s conduct sound more threatening than it actually was — serving, in Dr. Tyson’s words, as “the mouthpiece of a monstrous lie.” “She said with respect to the physical assault on her, or anything menacing or sexual, that that part isn’t true,” Dr. Tyson told “CBS This Morning” in 2017.
