bigsteve 0 #30 June 9, 2008 A couple months ago, I trimmed a branch with my Velo running towards the hanger on the tree side on the pond. Really Ian is right, the tree is not a hazard, just a wild optical illusion. See everyone this weekend :)
bigsteve 0 #31 June 9, 2008 Can't let you have all the fun on the pond Ian, thought I would throw on down too

berchtoldaj 0 #34 June 11, 2008 I'm packing up the truck today and heading up to the Farm tomorrow to set up some courses. There's quite a few folks packing there bags and heading up to Atlanta this weekend to compete. Pro's and amatuers alike. Here's a few hints...one is flying in flying in from Colorado...and another who won the world cup last year.************ Watch out for planters. Yeah, but since I'm supposed to pick him up from the airport, I think I'm just going to leave him there.....or drop him off in Downtown Atlanta. ianmdrennan 2 #39 June 16, 2008 Scores posted here: http://pdblog.typepad.com/ Man, what a crazy meet. 17 zero's in Round one of ZA. Personally my worst scoring meet ever (just kept missing the top of the gates). Overall a lot of fun, but man, what a comedy of errors. frost 1 #40 June 16, 2008 The Farm ROCKS. Thanks Al, Hans, Kim and everyone who helped out. The comp was challenging, lots of people had problems... their minds were not in the game i guess... The results will be posted soon, but here are some pics from the last run of the meet, courtesy of Chad. http://maxf.net/~shatalov/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=FLCPA_5_2008
ianmdrennan 2 #41 June 16, 2008 HA! Gotta love the distance run on Zone Acc after that horrible vert Great seeing you again Mike - thanks for coming to the comp, and sushi! Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
superstu 0 #43 June 16, 2008 ian, 4 zero's isn't that bad especially on your home turf with months of practice and seeing you swoop the bejesus AFTER the competition. yeah, it could have been worse, shatilov could have beatin you...oh wait he did Slip Stream Air Sports Do not go softly, do not go quietly, never back down
ianmdrennan 2 #44 June 16, 2008 Quote and seeing you swoop the bejesus AFTER the competition. Yep, day late and a dollar short Quote shatilov could have beatin you...oh wait he did That's just low Next time I'm leaving your ass at the curb instead of getting up at 5am to drive it to the airport Oh, and since we're chatting about performances, you definitely win the humor award from the comp. For those who weren't there, Stu skips off the water in ZA round 2 (missing all the water gates and bombing into zone 2 or 3) but yelling "Son of a bitch, I fucking hate you" to his canopy on the top of his lungs just after the skip. Al's response was priceless, he turns to Fastrax and says "Is that why you make him wear the full face?" Performance Designs Factory Team
Kolla 0 #45 June 16, 2008 Stu... Stu... Stu.... tsk tsk tsk. You go back to your parachute and tell her you are very very sorry, that you love her and this will never happen again!Blue Skies Magazine

superstu 0 #47 June 16, 2008 My bad, my canopies were acting up this weekend one wasn't letting me stay on the water and the other was trying to put me through the water into the dirt...i had a little chat with that one too a couple of times. i think it's all sorted out now though and we're friends again, just a little misunderstanding Slip Stream Air Sports Do not go softly, do not go quietly, never back down
Kolla 0 #48 June 16, 2008 Granted I'm no swooper, but isn't it the PILOT that is supposed to be flying the canopy? Stu, man, you gotta be the leader of your pack - for some reason these parachutes are just not respecting you as a canopy pilot!Blue Skies Magazine
