It really isnt that big of a deal. Unfortunatly america is the home of the sue happy, and well the DZ's have to cover their asses.

Just be prepaired to take an extra 10 min or so, could be longer depending on the number of people there at the same time...to sign waviers.

Basically signing your life away;)
...saying no matter what happens you won't hold anyone but yourself responsible for any injuries, loss or death .

Apparently the waiver can be beat ....you would have to prove that grossly negligent acts caused your injuries , death etc..

Perris and Elsinore do it - I believe prompted by a particularly lame lawsuit against Snore where the guy claimed he thought he was signing 'something' to get video of his jump.

None of the Bay Area DZs do it. But in terms of hassle, the videoing didn't take any longer than Monterey's waiver filled in duplicate (might be city requirement for second copy).
