I just graduated a 16 year old dz kid today :-) The best part is that I taught him to pack and I've had a personal packer for a few weeks now
:-)

Damn i wish that coulda been me!
I would have gladly done that at 16.:(

Oh well

Laugh. He did a great job feeling my camera on level 7 :)
he's been working as a dz heyboy all summer( cleaning bathrooms etc)
to pay for his aff.

His packing is getting faster and better and
he'll be a dx bum soon. Unfortunately he's gotta go back
to high school so we will lose him during the week soon

Ive worked my ass off to save enough $$$$$ for both school and AFF.

Damn hes lucky to already be at that level at such a young age...lucky lucky lucky.

Back in 1968; DZ no longer there; at Eagle Field, about 10 miles west of Firebaugh, CA. I flagged for cropdusters there when I was a kid. One year after USPA changed its name, to USPA (forget what it was called before that). Jumpmaster: Ron Diaz. Did two static lines on round chutes out of a Cessna 182. Forgot to turn into the wind for landing; crashed and burned. Hey, I'll bet "that's" what's wrong with me.

28.

Had just started in a new job and thrown out my lazy, good for nothing BF.

Really wanted to start jumping, but didn't think I'd dare to go out of the plane. I did a tandem first, and then I really didn't have a problem getting out;).

Signed up for AFF the following week.

Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet.

I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?
