RMK 3 #1 October 29, 2009 I was going through some old photos and ran across this one. It’s from one of Skydive Cape Town’s 206’s. Probably been seen before at another DZ, but it always makes me smile."Pain is the best instructor, but no one wants to attend his classes"
DJL 232 #2 October 29, 2009 This would create a lot of fun on the ride to altitude trying to talk tandem passengers into flipping the switch."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
Travman 6 #3 October 29, 2009 Two factory fitted warning labels that always amuse me: Our skyvan has: Never open door during flight unless under order from A/C Captain. Our PAC 750XL has: All cargo must be adequately tied down. ^^ I always have images of the cargo (skydivers) being tied down in the plane.
ksjumper 0 #4 October 30, 2009 Our warning label has a gas mask on it........
captain1976 0 #5 October 31, 2009 That came from an old "FAR SIDE" cartoon where the passengers had those buttons next to their seats. You live more in the few minutes of skydiving than many people live in their lifetime
tkhayes 154 #6 October 31, 2009 saw a huge 'mock' lever installed on a C130 once that had the same label on it
JohnMitchell 14 #7 October 31, 2009 A C-182 I used to jump out of had a nicely made placard on the instrument panel that said "If engine quits while flying, land as soon a practical." I thought that was quite appropriate.
MikeJD 0 #8 October 31, 2009 I've seen this one above the door of at least one jump plane.
wolfriverjoe 1,371 #9 October 31, 2009 We had "Warning - High Fall Risk" on the window in the door in a 182 for a while.I saw one on a utility trailer "Use extreme caution when opening door" that would work too. MikeJD 0 #13 November 1, 2009 QuoteQuoteSeen a few of these over the years. [Sly] No musical farting? It's not the 'music' that bothers me. It's the atmosphere it creates. Farting in the plane is the real reason full-face helmets were invented.
Teigen 0 #14 November 1, 2009 Quote Seen a few of these over the years. We have a similar one in our Twin Otter that says "no passing wind"
