rushmc 18 #476 January 6, 2017 billvon>Back this up please. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/education-not-income-predicted-who-would-vote-for-trump/ [url]http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/11/09/behind-trumps-victory-divisions-by-race-gender-education/[url] It is kind of interesting if you take the time to look through your link. It shows you that a Democratic lead country did not treat the working class very well Hence their vote for Trump. The highest income earners did well under Obama so they voted for Hillary. Just another example of the Democratic party saying they are for the working class when in the end they only care about themselves and their money. (while wanting to spend everyone else's money to keep themselves in power) At least this is another interpretation of Silvers "data"."America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." rehmwa 2 #481 January 6, 2017 RonD1120It is probably fake news but, I just read an analysis that Hillary's popular vote total came from California. She could be president of California. I'm OK with that. Having lived there for two years I wouldn't care if all y'all formed your own private utopia. "Popular vote TOTAL" .... ?! (No I think a few people in the other 49 states may have cast a vote or 2 for her also) So what? Californians are Americans too. This just means Dems are doing a better campaigning job there than anyone else. The point is the electoral system is set up to level out the wishes of the states, not of individuals. So in this case, it worked as intended by not letting a huge upset in a single highly populated state reverse the wishes of the rest of the country. A huge upset in a state like Utah just wouldn't have the same effect would it? jakee 1,254 #488 January 6, 2017 rehmwaThe point is the electoral system is set up to level out the wishes of the states, not of individuals. So in this case, it worked as intended by not letting a huge upset in a single highly populated state reverse the wishes of the rest of the country. A) It wasn't a huge upset. What about it was an upset? B) The current system let 'huge upsets' in 2 or 3 lowly populated states reverse the wishes of the country. C) What does it matter that California is one state? Does that make the people there more homogenous than the people of North and South Dakota? Does it make San Fransiscans indistinguishable from Los Angelinos from Newellites? If California was, today, split into 3 states of North, South and Central Cali and each of them had 22 electoral votes would you be less bothered about how much influence they had on the next election?Do you want to have an ideagasm? Royreader8812 0 #491 January 7, 2017 Quoting straight from that report: Quote "Thus, while the conclusions in the report are all reflected in the classified assessment, the declassified report does not and cannot include the full supporting information, including specific intelligence and sources and methods." Lol...I'm grabbing some more popcorn. This world is full of gullible idiots, which this report is designed for. Them thinking they can take hackers on with this incompetence is Hillary'ous... Not that there was necessarily any hacking involved, just that hackers are geeks when it comes to methodology so many experts will analyze this and pick it to pieces. Read between the lines folks, this report puts the mock in Operation Mockingbird. Fortunately Russia is showing restraint, while the war hawks push for more profit. quade 3 #496 January 7, 2017 No comrade Rush, it is you who lost it several months ago. In your absolute hate for Hillary (see you post two back from this), you've lost the ability to tell the difference between winning over her and handing over the US to a puppet of Russia. A number of us have been talking about that very point for months while you've somehow completely ignored it. All you've ever cared about in this entire election cycle was "winning" over Hillary. Okay, battle won, but you've lost the country. Proud of yourself?quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

quade 3 #498 January 7, 2017 Let me try this another way. Rush, what action by Trump could convince you the US has significantly changed? Not a minor change like the previous back and forth, give and take between the Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, Obama, but something fundamentally different which attacks the core beliefs of the US? Where is your line (just for future reference)?
