Ok, I read the lot. Being objective I found the article to be biased, emotional, unbaised in fact and content. As for the use of the term Victory Mosque that I just see as inflamatory. The writer is a known hater of Muslims and has been roundly critisied for being so.

All in all an artical without merit.

Why do they want to build it there?

Look at the location and the area surrounding it. Look at how many mosques already exists in the area and where the population center for those who would attend this site live

With 80-some odd mosques in Manhattan, they clearly are not building where their believer (customers) are.
