The politically acceptable "N" word

Recommended Posts

It seems that the party of the KKK, segregation and racial discrimination, has found a new, acceptable "N" word.

It seems to,readily, roll off the tongue, of every MSM and left wing tv personality, out there. It also gets thrown around, with aplomb, in the left wing blogosphere.
The word is spoken with venom and vitriol, and is meant to do the same harm, as the word,of old.
It rolls off the tongue, and hangs in the air, like the scent of some baby, being hauled through a crowded mall, to get its diaper changed.
Ironically, it has four of the same letters, in consecutive order.
You guessed it. The word is"Teabagger".
Let us take note, how easily, those, who use the word, picked it up.
After, only, a few days of the word being thrown around, obviously, by someone who had experience in such things, anyone, with a computer, could find out the meaning.
Yet, they all picked it up and ran with it, like a schoolyard bully.

Stay classy, leftwing.

So who cares? No where in the Constitution does it say that one has the right to NOT be offended.

I agree... Let's all get back to saying what we mean...I love those words, which come out and stick, like a knife.

The term actually came from the conservatives. From FOX News:

"TeaParty.com has a headline, 'Teabag the fools in DC on Tax Day.' They want you ... to take a tea bag, put it an envelope, and mail it to the White House."

And it's clearly a term they have adopted for themselves. (See below.)

I'm happy to call people whatever they want to be called. If it offends you, best get them to stop describing themselves that way.

The Teabaggers hold themselves out to the world by that moniker. When there is a self-labeled Nigger Party that convenes a Nigger Convention, let's resume this conversation.

It is known as the Tea Party.

Oh, my bad.

Nig Party.

Nignoggery party. :P

>Just dense or was that a purposeful gross misinterpretation of that sign . . .

You're right! It's outrageous to call someone who calls for teabagging a teabagger.

Can you imagine how insulted you'd be if you told someone you skydived, and they called you a "skydiver?"

Ridiculous.

Teabagger isn't a racial epithet, it describes a person with a chosen set of political beliefs.

If you want to liken it with another word, seems to me that 'Liberal' used as a pejorative by the Right is a good comparison. Likening it to 'Nigger' is absurd.

(And 'Teabagger' doesn't start with an N...)
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

hey... don't use that S-word. that might be mis-construed as a personal attack. You might have to ban yourself.

Now they would call me a liar-rightly so

But you're still purposely by connotation which is ok in this forum. We joke about the opposition and if one is taking that seriously they should probably find another playground.
The original post is about supposedly our information sources exhibiting a severe slant and getting a wink and a nod and not being held accountable to their mission of providing undoctored information.

Probably true!

"Being held accountable?" All the major media outlets - FOX, CNN, MSNBC, you name it - are held 100% accountable by the viewers. If no one watches them, they fail. That's not happening - so apparently we're in support of what they do.

Which, of course, has nothing to do with providing accurate information. If you want accurate information, watch CSPAN.

If you don't wish to be called a "Teabagger", then don't attend rallies holding signs that advocate "Teabagging".

Very simple.

A lot harder to change the color of your skin.

Sorry, it's a totally different argument.

Gotta love it when somebody tries and fails so miserably to twist historical events.

Nice try though.
