whats the best way to put foot prints on my helmet??

Recommended Posts

I plan on making my Black Aviator unique by putting my own foot prints on the back of it in white. Now what could i use that would stay on the helmet but be able to wash off my feet. You guys got any ideas?

Hmm. Things that stick have a tendency to, well, stick...

An idea though:

1. Dip your feet into something that comes off easily(like water-soluble paint)
2. Step on some adhesive paper, thus printing your feet on the paper
3. Cut out the marks left on the paper(after it's dried, preferrably)
4. Stick the the "mold"(I know there is a word in english for this, what was it?) you just made on your helmet
5. Spray paint.

Feet on helmet in a few easy steps:

1) Drive to Wal-Mart
2) Walk in to Wal-Mart
3) find section in Wal-Mart that has the little feet shaped gripper sticky things you put in the bottom of a tub or shower
4) purchase said grippers (keep the receipt)
5) go home, make an outline of the feet on some thick paper
6) cut out the feet drawing and use as a stencil
7) once painted to perfection, return gripper sticky feet thingy's to Wal-Mart for a full refund

So a guy is driving home from a bar one night. He gets pulled over, and when the female cop gets up to the window, she can smell the booze all over the guy. She drags him out of the car, slaps the cuffs on, and reads from her Miranda card, "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be held against you..."

"BOOBIES!!!!"

For someone who just recently tried painting a few helmets with NO previous experience. here's my input: First, the best paint you can use is Automotive Acrylic and Clear Coat. You must protect your paint with a clear coat or it will scratch very easily, ESPECIALLY if you simply paint it over the existing clear coat. Which brings me to my next point, when I redo Pam & I's I will definately wet-sand the existing clear coat off before I paint it, I think it will make for a nicer surface. However, it's hard to get it as shiny as it was from the factory after you add your clear coat if you don't have much practice at it. Anyway, I think for what you're wanting to do, the Auto Acrylic and clear coat will do just fine.

well shit i got that covered man. I have alot of my old modeling stuff which include a bunch of super fine sand paper and some polishing compound ment to smooth out the orange peel affect you get when painting models.
