Vallerina 2 #1 April 29, 2003 Okay, so I have to get a motorcycle helmet since there's a few people out there who get grossed out by brains smashed on pavement. I don't like plain and boring. I like colorful and gaudy! Now, I already designed my skydiving helmet with a really cool picture of Homer Simpson skydiving on it. I am out of ideas on what to do for this next helmet. No, I can't just let it be...that's just not an option. It needs to be fun and distract people Things that I like that may be helpful in your designing a helmet for me: I really like hot pink I like shamrocks This is the guy I'm getting it from: www.rodmansvisuals.com His stuff is cool! I like cotton candy Chicago is my favorite city Does anybody have any ideas? HELP ME! LouDiamond 1 #3 April 29, 2003 Take a look at the following , you should be able to get a good idea on a few things. I have used the first guy several times to paint helmets. http://www.pepedesigns.com/ http://custompainting.com/ http://www.customairbrush.com/"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
Vallerina 2 #4 April 29, 2003 Wow! I really liked that Captain Morgan one! The others on the other site were nice, but not really "me." The Captain Morgan one used to be "me" until it kicked my ass in 5 years ago! Now, the Capt. and I are no longer on speaking terms! Quotehow about a nice big set of boobies!! No, I've heard the big ones sag, and I don't want sagging ones on my helmet. Small ones won't take up enough space. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
PhreeZone 15 #5 April 29, 2003 Just get a frame grab of WFFC 02 and put it on there I liked the one that I saw that looked like a split open helmet and brains dripping out of it. Jessica 0 #6 April 29, 2003 Cotton-candy pink helmet, with "Valinator" on the side in green, with a shamrock dotting the i. And you have to get matching pink leathers. Skydiving is for cool people only
Vallerina 2 #7 April 29, 2003 I love your idea, Jess! I'm nervous about putting my name on it, though! If I'm ever trying to outrun the cops, and they see "VALINATOR," they'll be banging down my door in no time at all! Maybe I'll put "I rock!" instead and put the shamrock in the "o." These are two designs of Rodman's I like. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Vallerina 2 #10 April 29, 2003 QuoteSo do you have a bike or is this a new fashion statement for skydiving? Luckily, I've realized that if I can't even drive a car very well, I shouldn't even try a motorcycle out! No, the helmet is for when I go to the mall. The shoppers there have gotten very aggressive, and I'm needing some extra protection to keep me alive. I almost got killed during a sale at Wal-Mart, so I'll be sure to use the helmet there as well. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

wildblue 4 #12 April 29, 2003 QuoteA freind of mine got a skydive helmet were the writing is: Somewhere are #4 there, he should put: "If I'm alive, please do not remove this helmet unless absolutely necessary" I've seen it on a number of motorcycle helmets, and only one skydiving helmet. Usually in the form of a sticker saying something to that effect - "In case of accident, do not remove!"it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

PLFKING 3 #14 April 29, 2003 I didn't know Ohio didn't require helmets until this past weekend.....I was in Cleveland on business. I especially liked the city motto -- "Cleveland......a boil in the armpit of the state that is Ohio." Above comment was directed exclusively towards Seth and Eric, and should not be taken seriously by anyone else dumb enough to live in Ohio. Don

Vallerina 2 #18 April 30, 2003 Ha! That's fun! I should've posted the picture of my Homer helmet, but that pic is at home. Oh well. I think I might get the Chicago skyline on my helmet, or I might just give him a few of my interests, show him a few designs I like, and just let him do whatever it is that he wants. I'm just trying to find a good balance between giving him too little guidelines so that he has to pull whatever out of the air, or too many guidelines to where he has no creative input. Some of his work is incredible (my favorite is the woodcarving of a camera flyer...really cool!), so I'd like to see him put some of that artistic creativity into my helmet. wildblue 4 #23 April 30, 2003 QuoteI didn't know Ohio didn't require helmets until this past weekend They don't - only for the first year you ride. Of course, people like you and Jess are required to whenever out in public. Sometimes they will even tether you to a set of monkey bars for your own safety. You think Cleveland is bad, check out Toledo sometime. Ever hear someone say "Holy Toledo!" ? PLFKING 3 #24 April 30, 2003 Quote They don't - only for the first year you ride. That's interesting (and progressive thinking in my opinion).
