Zenister 0 #13 June 10, 2003 well since JT isnt "flying camera" yet, ballsey boy took his high dollar digital out and snapped a few shots with it in his hands.. and one of them (at least) actually turned out pretty cool.____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. What's up Zen? To correct you on this, none of JT's pics turned out to be cool the pic is from the camera guy taking a pic of JT attempting to get a cool shot and missing his slot.....Sorry JT
wingnut 0 #15 June 10, 2003 Quotetook his high dollar digital out and snapped a few shots with it in his hands.. but you'll notice... that's jt under the formation........in the first pic..... and a disposible on the second...... i still think jt is just trying to improve apon his "famous" standing he holds in such hi regard..... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"

highfly 0 #17 June 10, 2003 What digi camera are you jumping out with JT? ANd more importantly how are you attaching it to yourself? www.myspace.com/durtymac
jtval 0 #18 June 10, 2003 its a kodak dx3600 I put the band around my wrist under my alti!I dont do this often I was messing around with it. as far as the disposable I taped it to my hand! I was still able to pull my reserveif needed and not loose the camerain freefall! I did it a few times under canopy. I would pull high andkeep the cam tucked in my ff suit sleeve until I was open and flying under good canopy! another thing i made sure of... these were cessna loads so the only people around were those in My group! I wouldnt try something like this at a large dz where, if I were to drop it, i could kill someone! worst that could happen if I dropped it in those pics were I would lose the cameraMy photos My Videos
highfly 0 #19 June 10, 2003 Cool. I have a Canon powershot A40. It's a little big to take in freefall I think. Maybe a h n p from full alt would be ok. You could get some great pics at that alt especially if was a sunset load. I had a friend go out in Seb with a throwaway camera. Funniest sight seeing someone take pics and then having to wind on by hand. He he. Don't do much for the sit though. www.myspace.com/durtymac
