jimmytavino 16 #11 January 26, 2004 ...for Me,,,,if one minute is 10,000 feet,,, then one hour is 600,000 feet.. .times 33 hours (over the course of 2,830 jumps) = 19,800,000 feet.... but more importantly it is 237,600,000 inches.!!!! ..hahahaha And in our sport it's often said that "it's the last half inch that hurts" so that's 475,200,000 HALF-Inches!!!!!,,,and every single one of them "didn't hurt a bit"...... Viking 0 #13 January 26, 2004 Quote faaaaawk thats a DAMN good question!!! I would only be able to give you a VERY rough estimate! Edit: Ok last season with around 70 days of practice with roughly 7000 yards a day i swam 490,000 yards, or 1,470,000 feet, or 278.409 miles.................so i went 113 more miles swimming last season than i have skydiving in 3 years. wow I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
kallen 0 #14 January 26, 2004 Dah-um, looks like you win the swimming part. I too swim to keep the fat off, but I only logged 116 miles in 2003, about 2 miles per week.

nightjumps 1 #21 January 26, 2004 I still have my card from the now defunct "100 Mile Club" from around 1983. If I remember right, you could put in for 100, 500 & thousand increments. Course, that was when few had a 1,000 jumps (we didn't have packers and it was a long pack job)

Viking 0 #23 January 26, 2004 how many jumps do you have? take that number and multiply it by 10,500. Thats the number of feet you have fallen. Then go here and input the number of feet, select miles on the other menu and post the results.
