moodyskydiver 0 #1 August 16, 2002 I finally got the chance to see Triple X last night and I loved it. But then again,I'm not your average female who likes sappy "chick flicks" either.(not tryin to stereotype by saying that all females do like that stuff..I'm just sayin I dont.) I loved the sexy cars, skydiving(of course) and cool toys! But then again, I'd sleep with Vin Diesel in a heartbeat! Heh! Sorry, just had to throw that in. So who has seen it and how'd you like it? SBS 0 #2 August 16, 2002 I saw it a couple of nights ago. Great action flick. I keep saying it's like a porno...you don't go for the plot, that's just what holds one sex scene to the next...in this case, one action scene to the next. I thought the stunts were great. -S_____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...
fasterfaller 0 #3 August 16, 2002 I love that movie . It has guns , cars , a hot chic , explosives , and death and destruction . What more could you want from a movie .
quade 3 #4 August 16, 2002 007 get the f out - XXX is in da house. Basically, take all those wimpy tuxedo wearing fops that have played Bond (after Connery) and throw them out and replace them with somebody that's more in-line with the generation that watches the X-Games. Keep everything else about a Bond flick; bad guys, big guns, cool cars, hot chicks and some kick ass stunts. XXX even keeps "Q" and the traditional "here's your new gadgets" scene. The explaination of XXX's character is PERFECT and his first stunt in the movie is a work of genius as far as letting you know what this guy is all about. Yeah, the dialog is a little weak in places, but it's certainly no worse than any Bond flick and a hell of a lot cooler in a lot of places. In quiet reflection sitting here about 72 hours after watching it I can only find a couple of faults with the flick; Hated the fact they had to make up weapons rather than simply use real ones. I'm thinking it would have been way more cool for XXX to use a Desert Eagle rather than some goofy dart gun. Hated the set designs for the interiors of the NSA and "evil guy" secret lair. Again, realisim would have been a better deal. Hated the vehicle design for the weapon of mass destruction. Again, it just didn't make any sense. I guess the flaw here is that I know that a lot of the stunt work was real -- done by real humans and not computer generated. So, more realisim in the weapons and sets would have sold the entire movie better for me. ALL OF THE ABOVE SAID. Go see this flick. Really cool stunt stuff and the chick -- oh my, she rocks. ********** Also ********** It was explained to me AFTER I SAW THE FILM that the sentace or two that would have explained the funky skysurf ended up on the cutting room floor. Supposedly, the winds whipping around the mountain tops was supposed to be causing a LOT of turbulence. Now, since that line got cut, it didn't make a whole lot of sense that he was skysurfing the way he was in the film, BUT TO ME while I was watching it I justified it in MY mind by thinking "hey, they said he was an expert snowboarder and we've seen him BASE jump, but they haven't ever said anything about him skysurfing. Maybe it's the first time XXX has ever skysurfed!" And I thought to myself -- cool!quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
SBS 0 #5 August 16, 2002 I have to wait to see it again, and probably on DVD so I can slow and pause it, but it looked like in the scene where they are eating in the nice restaurant that you can see the reflection of a member of the crew in the window...anyone else notice that, or need I go back to smoking the crack? -S_____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness... billvon 2,483 #6 August 16, 2002 I thought it was awful, myself. I went to see Harry, and the stunts. The stunts were indeed good, but I had seen two of them before the movie came out, and honestly if you'd just made a 30 minute tape of all the stunts I would have been just as happy. fool 0 #9 August 16, 2002 Actually there was a line in the movie about the winds being turbulent...I forget what it was but I do recall hearing it. Well, actually it seems familiar to me, and the only thing I looked up about the movie were the trailers, and so I am assuming I heard it in the movie... quade 3 #10 August 16, 2002 Yeah, there is ONE line in there about the turbulence from the pilot chick, but from what I gather there was supposed to be a more in depth one about how it would affect freefall -- not that it actually would. I can't even imagine how strong turbulence would have to be in order to knock a good board-flyer unstable. The turbulence I saw in the plane was nothing compared to some of the stuff I've experienced in real life flying through Banning Pass in California. quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

AndyMan 7 #14 August 17, 2002 I saw it tonight.... The stunts were spectacular, but a few of them were just a bit over the top.... like hopping a motorbike over a 15 foot fence without any sign of a ramp. Hmm... Tailgate + low pass + drogue = fun! lol the GTO was sweet... the boat looked rediculous. Awesome movie. Harry's stunt was spectacular, cheers. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead. TomAiello 25 #19 August 18, 2002 I just saw it tonight (drank a toast to Harry on his last stunt). I was actually quite impressed. I was only watching it for Tim's cool Corvette flick. I expected a kind of silly movie being used as a vehicle for cool stunts. It went well past my expectations. I thought it was at least as good as your average Bond flick. I'm kind of hoping Vin Diesel starts a XXX franchise to rival 007.-- Tom Aiello [email protected] SnakeRiverBASE.com
VivaHeadDown 0 #20 August 18, 2002 I say let's offer free tickets to Africa. One way. Anybody can take the tickets, black or white. Anybody who considers themselves and African in America, yet has no connection to Africa shorter then a couple hundred years, is a product of America's poor educational programs. That's who they should be sueing. Then, when they get to Africa, they can sue the continent for all the civil rights violations because I'm sure the war lords who are the decendants of the people who sold slaves to America in the first place give a flipping bleep. Whatever. Don't Confuse Me With My Own Words
