Did 1st two AFF jumps today

Recommended Posts

Well I am on my way did 2 AFF umps today with my instructor.

At this point I am considering changing my log on here to Pototoe Chip Boy!! Wow If someone would have taped a martini tumbler to me they would have been perfectly shaken!!

Anyway had alot of fun and learned alot. Doing my AFF progresion one on one with the instructor and video review after really helps. On the second jump I only chipped a little bit but I am still looking for the sweet spot.

Canopy work was a blast (no I didn't stand up either, tried the second and went semi ass over band box) but laughed after.

Anyway tomorrow is another day and were supposed to have blue Skys, I can't wait.

Who was your instructor?:)

Ed Pawlowski (A.K.A. Body Pilot1) and I feel damn lucky to have him as an instructor. He takes the extra time to make sure I understand the positives and negatives of the training jump. If you live in northern Calif. and are considering AFF I highly reccomend Ed.

Only if I can change mine to "NoPondSwoopMoron." :D It never changes.........no matter how long you are in the sport or how many jumps you have....there will always be a new challenge. ;) However the video and commentary from Andy Anderson was PRICELESS! :D

Well I have 3 hawk 30's (two in scale ships), a raptor 30, a raptor 50 dedicated to my lost 343 brothers in the NYFD and a fury tempest 91. As you fly or flew heli's you know the value. However the heli's is how I spend the what limited time my father has left on this planet with him. I balance my time between the two.

Your canopy work was excellent. :)
I wouldn't call 3 steps and falling to your knees ass over band box! :S
From 1 to 10 your canopy control is a 9 ;)

Here are a couple pics from today, great job Phil :)
Edited to add: His fall rate was 136mph average B|

See you tomorrow
