As a Kitty, you do know, you don't have to wait to be invited somewhere, right? At least 2 of the cats I had growing up, just kind of moved into our house from somewhere else in the neighborhood. So just find somewhere you want to be, and set your self up. When someone asks "What are you doing here?" just pause, look annoyed, and then resume licking a paw or something in a dismisive manner.
