What are you driving?

Hey!! Give me a break! I just bought the car a few months ago. :$ I've taken her on a few long drives, and plan to do some more in the upcoming months. I'll get 'er up there! ;)

Nope, no brakes! Notice the spelling. Im astounded at how many times Ive put brakes on the thing. Other than that its been crazy reliable. Only usual maintenance.

My last car was on 04 Pontiac Vibe, it had almost 70k on it when it got smashed. After only 2 years! ;)

OUCH!! That looks like it might of hurt a little. :S

My little del Sol has had quite a bit of maintenance done to her when I bought it. The last owner did NOT take care of her at ALL... But, I knew what I was getting myself in to with that car (had LemonBusters check it out), so I was prepared for it. She's purring like a kitten now. :)

Hmmm..
Outlaw or Sprint?

I used to do side work for a guy that did head work for outlaw cars. Nothing like 500hp passing within inches of you legs/knees/groin. :o

410 Sprint. Used to run with All Star Circuit and WoO, mostly just local tracks...Buckeye, Attica, Eldora:o plus others. Our mills were putting out 725-750 hp. A very efficient way of turning money into noise B|

You aint done shit till youve scattered 5k worth of engine onto a 1/4 of asphalt! :o:P

I used to be into drag racing.

79 Chev malibu with:
sbc 400 .030 over = 406
forged 350 crank ground 9/16 over = 421 (If I remember right)
Comp cams 305 .525 cam mech lifters
300hp "double hump" heads (damn if I cant remember the casting number) 421 I think. Custom ported by me. 2.02 int, 1.60 exh, brass guides 1.05 springs, 7/16 studs, girdles etc
4500 TCI converter
'69 chevelle 12 bold with moroso brute strength posi and 4:56 gears

Ok. Only the serious gears heads will get most of that, but there aint much like sitting behind the of a 450hp 11.5 second race car.

Its kinda like your first ride in a 7 min to altitude King Air. ;)

Let me see if I've got this straight. You named a car named after a planet after ANOTHER car named after a planet?:D

2000 Nissan Xterra SE, red, with all the brush guards, which could easily be the best car ever for me, and a 1994 GMC Jimmy SLE 4x4 which is on its way to someone else soon.
I really don't do any off-roading, but you know how you need fo-tie-pull for all the times it snows here in Alabama...

Got a deal in the works for this... AggieDave eat yourheart out. 1964 air cooled beetle.

It's really extremely clean. pics do it no justice.

Sales pitch:
Very clean 1964 bug garage kept, rust free, uncut and never wrecked. 4" narrowed beam with CB performance drop spindles and new king and link pins. 1835cc motor with dual kadrons, kymco header and dyno max muffler, new alternator, new points, cap and rotor, new optima battery. The motor is very strong. It hangs from rancho pro street trans with hard alluminum side covers and solid engine mounts. Polished 5 spokes with new 135's front and new 165's out back keep this bug rolling down the street and turning heads. The car also has new front drums and new brake shoes on all four corners. The interior is complete white with blue trim and new white headliner. All the glass is OG except the one piece windows installed by the PO. All the rubber is in great shape, doors are solid and work smooth. The pan is RUST FREE as is the battery tray. The paint is in good shape with a few chips on the front of the hood and one above the windshield.

Mine happens to be a 06 Audi A3 2.0T

That MKIV Jetta parked next to you looks better.

Right now? a 94 Ford Escort Station Wagon AKA the shaggin wagon AKA "The Porsche" 88hp of pure asphalt ripping power.

In a couple weeks I'll be driving a 2007 United Grey VW GTI with DSG tranny and 18" wheels.

You sound a bit jealous Viking... The Mk4 next to me is pretty stout but even with all his mods he cant catch me on the beltway. ;)

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.

The heated seats keep my bum warm up here!

Mine's a '96. I've never been a big SUV fan but I traded in my car for the Jeep so I could tow the camper I lived in for the last two years. Got rid of the camper and now I'm kind of stuck with a gas hogging V-8 with nothing to pull, but I've been as happy as I can be with the Jeep.

I used to be a little car girl but I got a baby-SUV in 1990 (Bronco II) and after sitting up that high, I didn't want to go back to a car. Got the Jeep in 2000 (to tow my trailer too!) and LOVE it! I don't care if it costs me more to fill it up. I love the way it drives and handles (especially on the snow and ice). AND it tows my tent trailer like it's not even there. I'll never go back to a car!

2005 Toyota Prius... I race mall-walkers for pinkslips... it's the first AND ONLY new car I've ever owned or will own. After 2yrs it's still fun... It has a 8yr / 100,000 mile warranty but I'm sure the $1.2 million dollar synergy drive will need replacing at 100,100.01 miles.

It was really between that and the new model Mustang - that's a hot car.

One day, I'd really like an old Porsche 911 to take care of.
