jimmytavino 16 #36 July 30, 2005 way to go twardo.... I saw a news program which was "on site" at Oshkosh during the annual air show and aircraft enthusiast gathering. the reporter spoke with H F and talked about a Junior Pilot program which allows youngsters to enjoy an airplane ride in a small plane and follow it up with lessons if they desire... ...... the camera crew and reporter must have been busy somewhere else when your "presentation' was made..... nonetheless.... preety cool.. to quote Short Round,,,, " No More parachutes!!! airtwardo 6 #38 July 30, 2005 " No More parachutes!!! Doctor Jones"....... *** HAA! I wish I would have thought of THAT! Yes...'Harry' is in charge of the Young Eagles program for EAA...He was up riding around in 'Duggy' the DC-3 we're using as a jump platform doing part of that interview. When they landed he came over and talked with us for quite a while...which he's done many times before. We had an extra rig and offered a jump...but he said he's more of "...an inside guy." The coolest, most soft spoken gentleman you could ever want to meet. To cover a couple comments in this thead real quick...(I gotta head back out to the show, we jump in 2 hours) He has dozens of aircraft and is a VERY accomplished pilot... He's still waiting for the 'right' I.J. script...he said he would love to do another one, but they had better hurry up because Sean Connery is 'getting to be too young' to play his father anymore! ...Any hey Nick! The 'shaft and sunlight' thing REALLY worked!!! Later ya'll...gotta run. Make a Skydive...Get a Check...AND meet a MOVIE STAR! "SNAKES!!
